Objective: To investigate and evaluate the effect of early enteral nutrition on the prevention of stress ulcer. Methods: From January 2016 to December 2016,60 patients in Ningbo first hospital ICU,who were diagnosed with shock, were randomly divided into two groups, the early enteral nutrition group(group EEN)and the delayed enteral nutrition group(group DEN),with 30 cases in each group.Group EEN patients treated with PPI 40 mg q12h(Losec)and Start EN support in 24 h hemodynamics after initial stabilization.Group DEN patients treated with PPI(Losec)40mg q12 h,for at least 3 days,3 days after the start of EN.Two groups of stress ulcers,ICU hospitalization time, mechanical ventilation time, and 28 days fatality rate were observed.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in age, gender composition and APACHEII score between the two groups(P> 0.05).(2)The incidence of stress ulcer in the early enteral nutrition group was 13.33%,which was significantly lower than that in the delayed enteral nutrition group(30%(P<0.05)).(3)The number of inpatient days in the early enteral nutrition group ICU was shorter than that in the delayed enteral nutrition group and P<0.05,with a statistically significant difference.Compared to the early enteral nutrition group and the delayed enteral nutrition group, the mechanical ventilation time and the 28 day mortality rate decreased, but there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusions: Early enteral nutrition can effectively prevent stress ulcer, shorten the length of hospital stay for ICU,but has no effect on mechanical ventilation time and 28 day mortality.
