Retrospective Analysis Of 1128 Cases With Seborrheic Keratosis

Objective: Seborrheic keratosis is a common skin benign tumor.In China,with the development of social economy,population aging and people’s attention to appearance,patients with seborrheic keratosis have increased year by year.Most typical cases are easy to diagnose,but atypical patients are easily confused with pigmented nevus,viral warts,Bowen’s disease,skin neoplasm,malignant melanoma and other skin diseases,which bring difficulties to clinical diagnosis.We collected and analyzed the clinical data of patients diagnosed as seborrheic keratosis in Department of Dermatology,the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from 2014 to March 2017,hoping to bring more clues to the diagnosis of seborrheic keratosis.Methods: All the collected case data were from patients diagnosed with seborrheic keratosis clinically from the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from2014 to March 2017.By reviewing the patient’s pathological section and clinical cases,the patient’s age,gender,age of onset,location of the disease,pathological diagnosis and other information were recorded and analyzed using statistical software SPSS 22.The incidence was compared using chi-square test and rank-sum test.Age is expressed using the median M(Q).Results: 1.The total number of cases diagnosed clinically as seborrheic keratosis is 1128 cases,of which 950 cases are seborrheic keratosis diagnosed by biopsy,and the diagnostic accuracy is 84.2%.2.Easy and the misdiagnosis of SK solar keratosis,verruca vulgaris,BCC,SCC,solar sunspots,Pine,Bowen,compound nevus,lichen planus like keratosis,condyloma acuminatum,melanin acanthoma and poroma.3.The proportion of men and women with SK is 0.72:1.The minimum age is 23 years,the maximum age is 92 years,the average age is 59 years,the median age is 60 years.The median age of the male was 60,and the median age of the female was 59.4.The incidence of SK were the highest followed by the trunk of head and neck.5.The incidence of SK has been rising steadily from 2014 to 2016.6.SK was the highest number of age groups at the age of 46-60,followed by 61-75 years.7.Hyperkeratosis and spinous hypertrophy are the most common pathological types of SK.Conclusion: SK is a common benign skin tumor.It is difficult to distinguish from keratosis,keratosis,verruca vulgaris,condyloma acuminata and lichen planus like keratosis in head,face,trunk,perineum and limbs.The main location of the disease is mainly in the head and face and trunk.There is no obvious difference in the age of male and female.The female patients are mostly with the male.SK is the most common pathological type with hyperkeratosis and spinous hypertrophy.
