The Design And Manufacture Of 3D Printing Implant Guide And Its Clinical Application

Objectives: In the process of the development of dental implant,the conception that guided by prosthodontics of implant and the appearance of implant guide had overcome the state of implant position deviation and hard to restore early.The study applied computer-aided design and 3D print technology to design and manufacture the impant guide.It can decrease the operation time,reduce the operation difficulty and improve the effect of restoration.Method: CT scan provided the implant area and related part of bone,soft tissue and adjacent important anatomical data in detail,optical scanning cast provided accurate information on the surface of soft tissue and teeth,then we put both through the domestic Color Cube implant image processing software for image registration,three-dimensional reconstruction of the implant area and the related parts of the anatomical structure and according to simulating the position of the restoration,adjacent teeth and oppositing teeth and adjacent important anatomical structures such as the bottom of the maxillary sinus or the position of mandibular neural tube,to design the implant type,size,position,angle and to design the implant guide,then we applied 3D printing process to manufacture the implant guide,and put the simulated design into the actual operation,final we used the implant guide to guide implant in the clinical operation accurately.Result: The implant guide stayed stable without warped in the operation,decreased the operation time,observed the image of x-ray after the operation,the dental implant can reach the position we designed accurately.Conclusion: Combine with the technologies including reconstruction of CBCT images,optical scanning of teeth cast,computer-aided dental implant surgical plan design,the design and manufacture of 3D print implant guide,the clinical application of the results can meet the clinical needs.
