Objective: The main purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical and electrocardiographic characteristics of myocardial bridge(MB)and its relationship with coronary heart disease(CHD).Research methods:From January 1,2015 to January 31,2015,clinical data of patients who had been carried out coronary angiography in our hospital's Department of Cardiology were retrospectively analyzed.According to the results of the coronary angiography, these subjects can be divided into two groups, namely myocardial bridge group and non-myocardial bridge group. The clinical features of these subjects were recorded such as age, sex, history of diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, hyperuricemia, and smoking. Moreover,we also followed up the location of myocardial bridge, the extent of coronary artery compression in systolic and characteristics of ECG.Measurement data in this research was evaluated by t test, while count data was used by chi-square test.P <0.05 can be considered having statistical significance. Results: There were 273 patients being admitted in our hospital's Department of Cardiology from January 1,2015 to January 31,2015,among which a total of 173 patients underwent coronary angiography including 39 myocardial bridge patients(the detection rate of 22.54%)and 134 non-myocardial bridge patients.Study also found that myocardial bridge was mainly located in the anterior descending branch(31 patients of which near the middle accounting for 79.5% of the total).Through the SPSS statistical analysis software,we can be found that the clinical features, such as age(P=0.006)and coronary heart disease(P<0.001)in myocardial bridge group was significantly different with non-myocardial bridge group. The results suggested that myocardial bridge group had a tendency to occur in elderly patients compared to the non-myocardial bridge group. However, the non-myocardial bridge group was more associated with coronary heart disease. In addition, there was no significant difference between two groups in terms of gender, diabetes, hyperlipidemia hyperlipidemia, hypertension, hyperuricemia and smoking(all P > 0.05).The patients with coronary heart diseases were more prone to hypertension(P= 0.018)compared with non-CHD patients. The study also found that the majority of patients(accounting for 56.41%)had suffered from Nobel level 2(the grading of coronary artery oppression on the systolic myocardial bridge). The myocardial bridge in the electrocardiogram showed normal ECG,myocardial-ischemia-like changes and early repolarization syndrome(ERS).There were 4 cases in 39 myocardial bridge patients with ERS(10.25%),12-myocardial bridge patients with myocardial-ischemia-like changes(30.77%),3 cases in 134 non-myocardial bridge patients with ERS(2.42%).Although patients with ERS in two groups showed no significant difference(P=0.057)according to the results of statistical analysis, myocardial bridge had a tendency with ERS.Conclusions: 1.The detection rate of myocardial bridge was 22.54%.Myocardial bridge mostly located in the middle of the anterior descending artery(accounting for 79.5%),followed by the distal of anterior descending artery, and was relatively rare in other anatomical location such as right coronary artery, circumflex artery and left main coronary artery.2.The clinical features such as age(P=0.006)and coronary heart disease(P<0.001)in myocardial bridge group was significantly different with non-myocardial bridge group. The results suggested that myocardial bridge group had a tendency to occur in elderly patients compared to the non-myocardial bridge group. However, the non-myocardial bridge group was more associated with coronary heart disease. In addition, there was no significant difference between two groups in terms of gender, diabetes, hyperlipidemia hyperlipidemia, hypertension, hyperuricemia and smoking(all P > 0.05).3.The patients with coronary heart disease were more prone to hypertension(P= 0.018)compared with non-CHD patients,so it was actively necessary to control blood pressure in clinical practice.4.The study found that the majority of patients(accounting for 56.41%)had suffered from Nobel level 2(the grading of coronary artery oppression on the systolic myocardial bridge). We found that the myocardial bridge in the electrocardiogram showed normal ECG(58.97%),myocardial-ischemia-like changes(30.77%)and early repolarization syndrome(ERS)(10.25%).Moreover,myocardial bridge patients had a tendency with ERS compared to the non-myocardial bridge patients.
