The Progress Of Early Repolarization Syndrome

Debating the points of benign electrocardiography changes of the early repolarization more and more research have been involved in the etiology, pathology and clinical significance of the early repolarization syndrome. Early repolarization syndrome(ERS) is common, although ERS related cardiac death in the general people is rare, it represents a poor prognosis once adverse clinical events happened, it is usually related with the occurrence of idiopathic ventricular fibrillation, syncope, sudden cardiac death. Different patterns of early repolarization also means different risk degree of early repolarization syndrome of them, characteristics of extensive repolarization abnormalities, tall and peaked T-waves, notching of the J-wave, horizontal/descending ST-segment, J-point of large amplitude and spontaneous dynamic change of the J-wave will increase the risk of idiopathic ventricular fibrillation associated with early repolarization syndrome, risk stratification of early repolarization is important in the management of early repolarization syndrome.
