Objective By collecting clinical questionnaires on preoperative anxiety and postoperative pain in patients with dentition defect, the general demographic characteristics of the patients with dentition defect and the pre-plant anxiety level and postoperative subjective pain perception were analyzed. To investigate the general demographic factors associated with preoperative anxiety in patients with dentition defect,to study the correlation between preoperative anxiety and postoperative pain, and whether the correlation between preoperative and postoperative pain in different age groups is different from the overall study..In the clinical work of oral implants,it provides certain clinical reference significance for grasping the changes of psychological behaviors when patients visit. Methods A total of 90 patients aged 20-75 who were voluntarily selected for implant denture restoration from December2017 to December 2018 were randomly selected for questionnaire survey.According to the age groups of 20-40 years old,41-60 years old and 60 years old,15 cases of male and female are divided into groups of each age group.Record general information at the time of initial diagnosis and fill out the Trait-Anxiety Inventory(T-AI).Fill in the State-Anxiety Inventory(SAI)and the Modified Dental Anxiety Scale(MDAS)before implantation. The patient underwent a Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score, which was recorded by the reviewer immediately. In this study, the same dental implant doctor performed implant surgery on patients with dentition defects, and the operation was performed using the ITI implant system. The surgery was performed with local infiltration anesthesia with atecaine. Finally, the data obtained by the survey will be analyzed and processed using SPSS17.0 software, using two independent sample t-tests,multiple independent sample rank sum test, completely random design data analysis of variance, etc.;multiple comparison using Bonferroni method;usingPearson and Correlation analysis was performed by the Spearman method. Results In this study, the total sample size was 90.The age range of the subjects was 20-75 years old,45 males and 45 females, with a male to female ratio of 1:1.Among them, there are 30 people in each of the age groups of 20-40 years old,40-60 years old and 60 years old,and 15 men and women of each age group.According to the academic qualifications of the subjects surveyed, the university or higher has the most academic qualifications, and the individual has the largest number of occupations.(1)Analysis of factors affecting preoperative anxiety in the study subjects: There were significant differences in the scores of S-AI and MDAS between the different genders(P<0.05),and the anxiety of male patients was lower than that of female patients. There was a statistically significant difference in the scores of S-AI between different age groups(P<0.05),that is,the scores of 20-40 years old were greater than those of60 years old,and the scores of 60 years old and older were greater than the scores of 40-60 years old. There were also statistically significant differences in the scores of MDAS between different age groups(P<0.05),scores of 20-40 years old were greater than 40-60 years old,and scores of 40-60 years old were scores greater than 60 years old. There were significant differences in S-AI and MDAS scores between the two subjects(P<0.05),indicating that gender, age and education had an effect on the scores of S-AI and MDAS.There were no significant differences in gender, age, and academic scores in T-AI(P>0.05).(2)Comparison of VAS scores of S-AI and T-AI anxiety status before implantation: According to the S-AI and T-AI scores of the study subjects, the anxiety levels of patients with dentition defect were divided into three groups: 20-37 points were less or no anxiety group(Low,L),38-44 points were moderate anxiety group(Moderation,M),and 45-80 points were extremely high or extreme anxiety group(High,H).In this study, whether it was state anxiety or trait anxiety, most of the subjects were in the group with little or no anxiety, and the postoperative pain value was also at a relatively low level. There was no significant difference in postoperative VAS scores between different S-AI and T-AI groups(P>0.05).The difference of postoperative VAS scores was statistically significant(P<0.05).Bonferroni multiple comparisons were performed between the three groups of T-AI,group L <M group <H group. The higher the preoperative trait anxiety is,the higher the pain is postoperatively.(3)Correlation analysis between S-AI,T-AI,MDAS scores and postoperative scores: S-AI,T-AI,MDAS scores were correlated and found to be positively correlated between S-AI and MDAS The relationship was(P<0.05),and the correlation between S-AI and MDAS was relatively close(r>0.5).There was a positive correlation between VAS after implantation and preoperative T-AI,and the correlation was close(r>0.5).After the age group, there was a correlation between the preoperative S-AI and MDAS scores in the 20-40 age group(P<0.05),and the correlation was closer(r>0.5),which was consistent with the age-independent results. However, there was no correlation between VAS after implantation and preoperative T-AI,and there was a difference between the results regardless of age. There was no correlation between preoperative S-AI and MDAS scores in the age group of 40-60 years old and 60 years old(P>0.05),but the preoperative T-AI of patients implanted in the age group of 40-60 years old and over 60 years old The postoperative VAS was correlated(P<0.05),and the correlation between preoperative T-AI and postoperative VAS in these two age groups was relatively close(r>0.5).Conclusion The general demographic factors affecting preoperative anxiety in patients with dentition defect are gender, age, education, etc.State anxiety, trait anxiety, and dental anxiety are common in the studied oral implant patients, and most patients have lower levels of anxiety. In this study, patients with dentition defect implantation had lower pain values, and the pain after implantation was mild pain.In general, preoperative state anxiety is associated with dental anxiety in patients with dentition defect implantation. The higher the anxiety level of the individual under stress, the higher the dental anxiety. The preoperative anxiety level is related to postoperative pain.Sexuality can predict the subjective pain perception of postoperative patients based on the preoperative trait anxiety level of the patient. After distinguishing the age group, the 20-40 age group is consistent with the higher the anxiety level of the individual under stress and the higher the dental anxiety, while the preoperative trait anxiety level predicts the subjective pain perception of the postoperative patient. The two age ranges of 40-60 years old and over 60 years old meet this conclusion.
