Objective: To investigate the prevalence of chronic kidney disease(CKD)and related risk factors in hearing impaired children in Hunan province. Methods: Using cross-sectional study, take the method of multistage cluster sampling,Hunan province were selected in the two cities or autonomous prefectures, respectively to extract a hearing impairment,150 children were selected from the hearing impairment institutions, and a total of 1,500 children were selected as research samples.On-site questionnaire survey, physical examination, laboratory examination. Results: 1.In this survey,1,459 children aged 2-14 years old have complete data, including 818 boys and 641 girls. There were statistically significant differences in height and weight between men and women(P<0.05),and significant differences in serum creatinine(Scr),glomerular filtration rate(eGFR),and blood uric acid(BUA)(P < 0.01).2.The total number of patients with CKD in the total population was43,with the prevalence rate of 2.95%.The prevalence was 2.93% in boys and 2.96% in girls, and the difference between males and females was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).The prevalence of CKD in group A(<7years old)was 5.79%,and that in group B(7 years old)was 0.94%.The prevalence of CKD in group A was significantly higher than that in group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The prevalence of CKD was 0.45%,0.94%,2.29% and 5.69% in children with mild to extremely severe degree of hearing impairment, respectively. The higher the degree of hearing impairment was,the higher the prevalence of CKD was,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The prevalence of CKD was 0%,0.28%,9.7%,19.57% and28.57%,respectively,for children with nutritional classification of overweight, normal, mild, moderate and severe malnutrition. The higher the degree of nutritional impairment, the higher the prevalence of CKD was,and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.01).Among the43 children diagnosed with CKD this time,13 children were previously diagnosed with CKD,so the awareness rate of CKD population was30.23%,and 5 children had a family history of genetic disease, which was about 11.63%.Always diagnosed with chronic glomerular diseases in children with nine people, about 20.93%,form and the B ultra inspection found Congenital kidney and urinary tract malformation(Congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract,CAKUT)children in 14 cases, about 32.56%,other etiology is unknown.3.The prevalence rates of hypertension, diabetes, abnormal lipid metabolism and hyperuricemia were 2.26%,0.21%,1.85% and 1.85%,respectively.The differences in the prevalence of hypertension, diabetes, abnormal lipid metabolism and hyperuricemia in children with different degrees of hearing impairment were statistically significant(P<0.01).Children with chronic kidney disease(CKD),chronic kidney disease(CKD)children high blood pressure, diabetes, abnormal lipid metabolism, high uric acid hematic disease prevalence(55.81%,0.64%),respectively(4.65%,0.07%),(30.23%,0.99%),(18.6%,1.34%),chronic kidney disease(CKD)with the children's high blood pressure, diabetes, chronic kidney disease(CKD),lipid metabolic disorder and high uric acidhematic disease prevalence differences significant statistical significance(P< 0.01).4.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension, nutritional disorder and hearing impairment were independent risk factors for CKD.Conclusions: 1.The prevalence of CKD in hearing impaired children in hunan province was 2.95%,higher than that in normal children nationwide, and most of them were in the early stage and early school age of CKD.Chronic glomerular disease(20.93%)and CAKUT(32.56%)were the major causes of the disease.2.Hypertension,nutritional impairment and hearing impairment are independent risk factors for CKD in children aged 2-14 years in Hunan province.
