Clinical Study Of Acupoint Manipulation Combined With Calcitonin Nasal Spray In The Treatment Of Senile Primary Osteoporosis Lumbago

Objective:To compare ‘the efficacy of Salmon calcitonin nasal spray' and ‘point manipulation combined with Salmon calcitonin nasal spray' in the treatment of senile osteoporotic's lumbago pain(SOPLP),and to explore the advantages of point manipulation combined with salmon calcitonin nasal spray in the treatment of SOPLP,and provide clinical reference for selecting the most suitable treatment scheme for SOPLP.By discussing the causes,we can further understand the therapeutic mechanism of manipulative acupoints on senile osteoporotic low back pain.Methods:172 cases of SOPLP were recruited from March 2016 to September2018 in Department of Orthopedics,Hubei Provincial Hospital of TCM.There were 64 males and 108 females,ranging in age from 60 to 88 years,with an average of(74±9)years.All patients met the POP diagnostic criteria in the Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Primary Osteoporosis(2017).The T value of DXA was less than-2.5 and/or accompanied by fragile fracture.The patients were divided into two groups by random number table method: 86 cases in the control group were treated with salmon calcitonin nasal spray;86 cases in the treatmentgroup were treated with salmon calcitonin nasal spray combined with point manipulation.The dosage of salmon calcitonin nasal spray was 200 IU at a time.January is a course of treatment,a total of three courses.Acupoint-point manipulation on Shenshu,Qihaishu,Dachangshu,Guanyuanshu for acupoints.Touching the bony surface with thumb and rub the acupoints.Taking the patient's feeling of soreness and distension as the degree,one time in the morning and one time in the evening,each time for about 20 minutes.All treatments in this study were performed by the same person.Visual analogue scale(VAS)and the Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)were used to evaluate lumbar back pain one day in each treatment.The time node about each treatment was one week,two weeks,one month and three months.Finally,according to VAS score and lumbar ODI score,the difference of curative effect was compared,and the advantages of point manipulation combined with salmon calcitonin nasal spray in the treatment of senile osteoporotic low back pain were analyzed.Results:There was no significant difference in age,course of disease,VAS and ODI score of lumbar pain before operation between the control group and the treatment group(P > 0.05).Compared with the control group,the difference of VAS score and lumbar ODI score before treatment in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group at the same time point 1 week after treatment,2 weeks after treatment,1month after treatment and 3 months after treatment.The P value was less than 0.05 by t-test,and the difference was statistically significant.The excellent and good rate was 93.0% in the experimental group and 76.7%in the control group.P=0.044<0.05.There was a significant difference with statistical significance.In the course of treatment,the adversereaction rate of the treatment group was no significantly different from that of the control group,P > 0.05.Conclusion:Acupoint manipulation combined with salmon calcitonin nasal spray has obvious clinical efficacy in treating SOPLP.The therapeutic effect is better than that of salmon calcitonin nasal spray alone.There is no statistical support for the difference in adverse reactions.
