Health has received much attention in recent years because of intrinsic value and social benefits. At the same time,China’s aging process is intensifying.Considering the weak resistance of middle-aged and elderly people and the slow metabolism, the health of this group is in a weak position, and health and its derivatives are particularly prominent.Based on the above background,it is necessary to specifically study the health-related problems of middle-aged and elderly people in China, which is of great significance for maintaining the health rights of middle-aged and elderly people, improving the health level of middle-aged and elderly people, achieving healthy aging, and building a healthy China. The main contents and basic conclusions of this paper are as follows:After summarizing the existing research, this paper analyzes the health inequalities of the middle-aged and elderly population in China from multiple angles. In order to optimize the analysis of the factors affecting the health inequality of middle-aged and elderly people,we used the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study data to compare the health status of middle-aged and old-age samples in different regions and the average health level of different income groups. The concentration index was used to measure the health inequality of samples. In view of the existing health inequality,we used static and dynamic decomposition methods to explore the influencing factors of health inequality from multiple perspectives.According to the research on the health level of middle-aged and old-aged people,it is found that the proportion of the population with good self-rated health has increased and the overall health level has been improved to some extent.By stratifying the middle-aged and old-aged groups according to their income levels,it is found that there are significant health differences among the middle-aged and old-aged people with different income levels, and the average health level of the rich is higher than that of the poor.At the same time, the health level of urban areas is higher than that of rural areas, which reflects the imbalance of regional development in China.Research on health inequality among middle-aged and elderly people shows that there are health inequalities between the rich and the rich, and there are differences in the degree of health inequality among different groups;from the source of health inequality, income inequality is an important factor of health inequality;from the time trend, due to the relative changes in health,it tends to be poor in 2013-2015.People have narrowed the health gap with the rich, leading to a slightly slower trend of health inequality. The results also show that the increase of income can improve the health of the low-income group more than that of the high-income group. Therefore, increasing income level can inhibit the health inequality of the middle-aged and elderly population. On the basis of the above empirical results,we proposes to improve the income distribution relationship and the health awareness of people, then we should promote the security system and the development of diversified pension scale. In addition,We will take measures in a targeted manner to improve the health of middle-aged and comprehensive health and achieve health equality by the distribution of health inequality in China and its influencing factors.
