| China’s population aging has become an irreversible trend. How to achieve the health aging has become an important issue that we must pay attention to. Middle-aged and elderly people are in a special stage of life curve that they are faced with the huge challenge about their physical, capacity, social status and mental health. Thus, the study of elderly health promotion has important theoretical and practical significance.This study tries to use the health knowledge dissiemination theory to explore the relationship between the middle-aged and elderly people’s health knowledge dissemination elements and health behavior, and find the suitable ways for the middle-aged and elderly people’s health education and health promotion. Through the research, we aim to enhance the efficiency of middle-aged and elderly people’s health knowledge dissemination, reduce the waste of health resources, promote the establishment of good health belief, protect the middle-aged and elderly population health, make them adopt good health behaviors and develop reasonable lifestyle, so that we can reduce the burden on family and society, promote family and social harmony, and achieve healthy aging.First of all, based on the theoretical study, we propose several hypotheses about the relationships among the middle-aged and elderly people’s health knowledge dissemination communicators, contents, medium, receivers, results and their health behavior. On this basis, we establish a theoretical model of middle-aged and elderly people’s health behavior and the health communication elements. Secondly, we analyze the metrics of each variable, production questionnaire and conducted a survey. The questionnaire and the datum are tested by reliability and validity analysis. We use AMOS17.0 and SPSS21.0 to do research. According to the descriptive statistical analysis, the middle-aged and elderly population are weak in health behavior and have practical health knowledge dissemination demands. SEM analysis shows that the middle-aged and elderly people’s health knowledge dissemination results play a role of intermediary. It also verifies the direct and indirect influences among the middle-aged and elderly people’s health knowledge dissemination communicators, contents, medium, receivers, results and their health behavior. Finally, several suggestions are made to optimize the middle-aged and elderly people’s health behavior. For example, promote the effect conversion among health knowledge, health belief and health behavior, develop professional health communication team to middle-aged and elderly population, strengthen the customization degree of health knowledge dissemination contents, integrate the health dissemination resources, improve the middle-aged and elderly people’s dissemination literacy and establish the evaluation and supervision mechanism. |
