The Correlation Research Of Size,Body Parts And Histopathology With Dermoscopic Patterns Of Melanocytic NEVI

Objective: To determine whether the dermoscopic patterns of melanocytic nevi(MN)are associated with size,body parts and histopathology.Methods: From March 2018 to November 2018,126 cases of MN in our hospital were collected.The dermoscopic patterns of MN in face and neck,trunk,limbs were recorded and analyzed.At the same time,diameter was measured and biopsy was performed.The relationship between dermoscopic patterns,size,distribution and histopathology of MN was analyzed by statistical method.Results: The distribution of reticular pattern,pseudo-network pattern and mixed pattern in different size of MN was statistically significant.The diameter of reticular pattern,pseudo-network was mostly <0.5cm,and the diameter of mixed pattern was mostly between 1.0cm and 1.5cm.The distribution of reticular,pseudo-network pattern in body parts varied dramatically,which reticular pattern was more common in the limbs and pseudo-network pattern was only observed on the face and neck.Thedistribution of reticular pattern and homogeneous pattern in different pathological types of MN was statistically significant.Reticular pattern was more common in junctional nevus,and homogenous pattern was more common in intradermal nevus.Conclusion: The diameter and distribution of MN in different dermoscopic patterns were different,and different dermoscopic patterns correspond to different histopathological manifestations.
