Objective:To explore the superiority of CT 3D reconstruction in diagnosis and treatment of complex finger deformity compared with the X-ray measurement in children and analysis the feasibility of 3D printing technique in establishing the physical model.Methods : Hand CT and three-dimensional reconstruction were performed in many children with complex finger deformity,and hand X-ray measurement was performed at the same time.The length of the affected finger,the angle of lateral bend and the Wassel classification were measured respectively.The results were analyzed and compared between CT 3D reconstruction and X-ray measurement,and to expound and prove the superiority of CT in reflecting the anatomic structure of complex finger deformity.Results:There was statistical significant difference between the data of CT and X-ray.On the basis of CT data,a physical model can be established to reflect the real anatomical structure.Conclusions:X-ray measurement has limitations in reflecting the true bone structure of the hand,and CT examination can reflect the real structure in many aspects,and it has remarkable superiority.The 3D model established by CT data can directly display the finger form and the anatomic structure of the operative site.But CT also has many limitations.
