ObjectiveTo investigate the difference of clinical and CT manifestations of colon mucinous adenocarcinoma and colon lymphoma.Methods57 patients with pathologically-confirmed colon mucinous adenocarcinoma and 18 patients with pathologically-confirmed colon lymphoma were analyzed retrospectively, including clinical features and CT findings.ResultsEnhancement rate(?R1,?R2,?R3),the rate of blurry fatty space surrounding bowel in colon mucinous adenocarcinoma were significantly higher than those of colon lymphoma(P<0.05).The precontrast density in solid portion, the homogeneity of tumor in precontrast and enhanced phases, the rate of lymphadenectasis and intussusception in colon lymphoma were significantly higher than those of in colon mucinous adenocarcinoma(P<0.05).In group colon mucinous adenocarcinoma,6 cases of hepaticmetastasis were confirmed by clinic follow-up,intestinal perforation with abscess was found in 1 case, psoas involvement was found in 1 case.No statistically significant differences were found in age, sex, clinical symptoms, the location of tumor, shape of bowel wall-thickening,the enhanced CT value in solid portion, the rate of mesenterium and peritoneum involved, intestinal obstruction,or seroperitoneum(P>0.05).ConclusionThe homogeneity of tumor, the precontrast density in solid portion, the enhancement rate and invasiveness of tumor, hepatic metastasis and intussusception can help to differentiate colon mucinous adenocarcinoma and colon lymphoma.
