Objective: to analyze the clinicopathological characteristics and survival time of the patients with liver metastasis of colon mucinous adenocarcinoma and common adenocarcinoma, and to explore the clinicopathological characteristics, prognosis and surgical treatment value of liver metastasis of colon mucinous adenocarcinoma.Methods:5816 patients5816 patients with liver metastasis of colon cancer were included in this study. There were significant differences between the two groups in Chi square test, including gender(male),location of primary tumor(right hemicolon),tumor diameter, tumor T stage, tumor N stage, number of LN detected, number of positive LN,primary surgery, combined surgery(all P < 0.05).OS and CSS were compared in each group: 1.For patients with overall liver metastasis, patients who received any operation were better than those who did not receive any operation;2.For patients who did not receive primary surgery, there was no significant difference between MAC and non MAC liver metastasis;3.For patients who received primary surgery,MAC liver metastasis was worse than non MAC liver metastasis;4 There was no significant difference between MAC and non MAC liver metastasis patients, but MAC liver metastasis patients who received the operation of metastasis were worse than non MAC patients;5.There was no significant difference between MAC and non MAC liver metastasis patients who did not receive the operation;6.MAC liver metastasis patients who received the combined operation were worse than non MAC patients.Single factor survival analysis showed that race,T stage, primary focus operation and metastasis operation were the risk factors of OS prognosis in patients with liver metastasis of mucinous adenocarcinoma(all P < 0.05);while multi factor survival analysis showed that race, primary focus operation and metastasis operation were the independent risk factors of OS prognosis in patients with liver metastasis of mucinous adenocarcinoma(all P < 0.05).Single factor survival analysis showed that race,T stage, primary surgery and metastasis were the risk factors of CSS prognosis in patients with liver metastasis of mucinous adenocarcinoma(all P < 0.05);multi factor survival analysis showed that race,T stage and primary surgery were the independent risk factors of CSS prognosis in patients with liver metastasis of mucinous adenocarcinoma(all P < 0.05).Results:5816 patients with liver metastasis of colon cancer were included in this study. There were significant differences between the two groups in Chi square metastasis of mucinous adenocarcinoma(P < 0.05).There are differences between MAC liver metastasis patients and non MAC cancer liver metastasis patients in the way of operation.Among them, the proportion of MAC liver metastasis patients receiving primary surgery is higher, but there is no significant difference in the proportion of liver metastasis and combined surgery.OS and CSS were compared in each group: 1.For patients with overall liver metastasis, patients who received any operation were better than those who did not receive any operation;2.For patients who did not receive primary surgery, there was no significant difference between MAC and non MAC liver metastasis;3.For patients who received primary surgery,MAC liver metastasis was worse than non MAC liver metastasis;4 There was no significant difference between MAC and non MAC liver metastasis patients, but MAC liver metastasis patients who received the operation of metastasis were worse than non MAC patients;5.There was no significant difference between MAC and non MAC liver metastasis patients who did not receive the operation;6.MAC liver metastasis patients who received the combined operation were worse than non MAC patients.Conclusions:1.MAC liver metastasis has unique clinicopathological features and poor prognosis;2.Surgery,especially combined surgery, can significantly improve OS and CSS of MAC liver metastasis patients;3.Surgery is an independent prognostic protective factor of OS and CSS of MAC liver metastasis patients;4.MAC liver metastasis patients should be actively operated to improve long-term prognosis.
