Objective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of UBE2C in serum of breast cancer patients.Methods:42 cases of breast cancer patients and 18 cases of benign breast nodules were collected from the Baoding First Central Hospital. In the same period,20 healthy people in the hospital were selected as the control group. The levels of UBE2C in serum of preoperative breast cancer patients, benign breast nodules and normal healthy people were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Analysis of breast cancer patients serum level of UBE2C with menopausestatus, tumor size, lymph node metastasis, histological grade,ER,PR,HER2,pTNM,cTNM,and other clinicopathological features.Determination of UBE2C levels in serum of patients with breast cancer 7 days after operation and comparison with preoperative serum levels. Results:The serum UBE2C level in breast cancer patients 841.64±134.03pg/mlwas higher than that in benign breast nodules286.49±32.74pg/mland healthy controls268.11±51.02 pg/ml.Serum UBE2C levels in breast cancer was not correlated with menopausestatus, tumor size,ER and PR(P>0.05),and was remarkably correlated with lymph node metastasis, histologicalgrade,pTNM,cTNM and HER2(P<0.05).Conclusion:Serum levels of UBE2C is evidently elevated, and is related to closely progression of breast cancer, and it can be a reliable indicators forpreoperativeexamination and poor prognosis of breast cancer.
