According to a U.S.survey of cancer data,Colon cancer has the third highest morbidity and the second highest mortality in the world. With the acceleration of social work and life rhythm,it is not difficult to find that the younger age of colon cancer patients is gradually increasing, and its morbidity and mortality are also rising. However, the exact pathogenesis of colon cancer is not completely clear clinically. At present,a majority of medical experts believe that colon cancer is linked to dietary habits, lifestyle, and genetics,to name a few.In clinical practice, the treatment and prognosis of some colon cancerpatients are not ideal, because when these patients are diagnosed, the tumor has already invaded other organs or has been founddistant metastasis. Therefore,it is necessary to seek for tumor marker genes and specific therapeutic target genes for colon cancer to help clinicians in early diagnosis, accurate diagnosis, targeted treatment and determine theprognosis. At the present stage, protein degradation is carried out through the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, and ubiquitination is a kind of protein posttranslation modification.Through research and exploration,it can be found that the occurrence and development of tumors largely depend on the ubiquitination process. Therefore, the ubiquitination process can be used as an important direction for tumor treatment.Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme 2C(UBE2C)is very important in the Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family and plays a decisive role in cell mitosis and cell cycle regulation.Years of scientific studies have shown that UBE2 C is often expressed at low or no expression in normal tissues, but is highly expressed in various primary tumor tissues, including colon cancer.UBE2 C is a vital target of the human primary tumor, and it facilitates the proliferation and invasion of tumor cells. Objective:To discuss and analyze the expression of ubiquitin coupling enzyme E2C(UBE2C)in the serum of colon cancer patients and its significance, and to point out a new way for the realization of precision medicine and individualized treatment of colon cancer in clinical practice. Methods:From January 2016 to October 2018,60 patients with colon cancer who were diagnosed at Baoding No.1 Central Hospitalwere selected as research subjects. And 60 healthy people who underwent a physical examination in our hospital were selected as the control group. The levels of ubiquitin-binding enzyme E2 C were determined by ELISA.Statistical software spss22.0.0 was used to analyze the experimental results, and P<0.05 at the test level indicated that the difference was statistically significant. Results:According to the research, there was no significant difference in sex and age between the two groups. However, through the comparison of UBE2 C expression between the two groups,it can be seen that the difference between the two groups is statistically significant,so it can be concluded that the serum group of colon cancer is higher than the normal control group. In the colon cancer serum group, there was no statistically significant difference in the serum UBE2 C expression between the left colon cancer patients and the right colon cancer patients. The AUC of UBE2 C for diagnosis of colon cancer was 0.842(P=0.000),95% CI was 0.760?0.993,and 540.21pg/mL was the best critical value. The sensitivity, specificity, and Jordan index were 82.00 %,75.50 %,and 0.575,respectively.Through the group to express the amount of contrast between the visible: TNM staging differences among different groups have statistical significance, stage ?,? is lower than the ? period and ? period, the difference is statistically significant. The difference in serous membrane infiltration between the two groups was also statistically significant. The expression level in the infiltrated serous membrane group was higher than that in the non-infiltrated serous membrane group, and the other indexes were not statistically significant between the groups.Conclusion:UBE2Cplays a momentous role in the early diagnosis and the prognosis of colon cancer, with high specificity and sensitivity.
