Objective: In this study,we observed the clinical effect of Chaihu Jieyu Decoction on stable angina pectoris(Qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm turbidity)with anxiety state, and evaluated the effectiveness of this prescription in treating stable angina pectoris(Qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm turbidity)with anxiety state. Methods: A total of 60 patients with stable angina pectoris(qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm turbidity)accompanied by anxiety were selected from the outpatient department of Cardiology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine basic treatment of Western medicine and psychological counseling, while the treatment group was given Chaihu Jieyu Decoction on the basis of the control group. The observation period was 28 days. The changes of angina symptoms, nitroglycerin withdrawal rate, electrocardiogram,TCM symptom score and Hamilton Anxiety Scale score were observed before and after treatment.Result:1.After treatment, the total effective rate of angina pectoris in the treatment group was 86.67% and 66.67% respectively, which was higher than that in the control group(p < 0.05),and the clinical angina pectoris score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(p < 0.05).2.After treatment, the discontinuation and reduction rates of nitroglycerin were 80.00% and 63.33% in the two groups, respectively. There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(p >0.05).3.After treatment, the total effective rate of electrocardiogram was56.67% and 43.33% in the treatment group, which was higher than that in the control group, with no significant difference(p > 0.05).4.After treatment, the total effective rates of TCM syndromes in the twogroups were 86.67% and 63.33%,respectively.The treatment group was higher than the control group, with statistical significance(p < 0.05);the scores of TCM syndromes in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, with statistical significance(p < 0.05).5.After treatment, the total effective rates of HAMA were 90.00% and70.00% in the two groups, respectively. The treatment group was higher than the control group, with statistical significance(p < 0.05);the clinical HAMA score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, with statistical significance(p < 0.05).Conclusion:1.Chaihu Jieyu Decoction can alleviate angina pectoris symptoms of stable angina pectoris(qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm turbidity)patients with anxiety state and improve TCM syndromes.2.Chaihu Jieyu Decoction can improve anxiety symptoms of patients with stable angina pectoris(qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm turbidity)accompanied by anxiety state.
