Objective:Through the clinical observation on the treatment of upper limb spastic paralysis after apoplexy by puncturing twelve well points combined with acupuncture,to explore effective methods for the treatment of this disease,to provide convenient, feasible and effective treatment measures for the clinic, thereby reducing the disability rate of stroke patients.Method:Sixty patients with stroke were divided into treatment group(n = 30)and control group(n = 30)by random numerical table. The patients in the treatment group were treated with conventional acupuncture combined with puncturing twelve well points, while the control group was treated only with conventional acupuncture.Treatment time: both groups were treated once a day, continuous treatment for 6 days, rest for 1 day,14 days for a course of treatment, observe a total of 2 courses of treatment,Before and after treatment, the patients were evaluated by modified Ashworth(MAS),modified Barthel(MBI),simplified Fugl-Meyer(FMA),and statistical analysis was performed to observe the upper limb paralysis level, daily living activity ability and upper limbs before and after treatment.Result:1.The Ashworth(MAS)grades of the two groups were lower than those before treatment. There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the 12 wells were pricked. The acupoint group is superior to the conventional acupuncture group in reducing the degree of paralysis.2.The improved Barthel(MBI)scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment. There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).It showed thatthe Twelve-Well acupoint puncture group was better than the conventional acupuncture group in improving activities of daily life.3.The simplified Fugl-Meyer(FMA)scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment. There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).It showed that the group of puncturing Twelve Well Points was better than the conventional group in enhancing upper limb motor function.4.The total effective rate was 86.67% in the pricking twelve jing-well acupoint combined with acupuncture group and 60% in the conventional acupuncture group. There was significant difference between the two groups by rank sum test(P< 0.05).Conclusion:1.The method of puncturing the twelve well points combined with acupuncture, and the conventional acupuncture method have a definite effect on improving the upper limb paralysis after stroke.2.The effect of pricking 12 well points combined with acupuncture,is better than conventional acupuncture. It is an effective method for treating spastic paralysis of upper limbs after stroke.
