Objective:To compare the curative effect of acupuncture exercise area on upper limb motor dysfunction in stroke sequelae between the healthy side and the affected side. Methods:Sixty patients were selected from the out-patient department of acupuncture and moxibustion department of the second affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of traditional Chinese Medicine,it is required to meet the characteristics of motor impairment of the upper limb six months to two years after stroke, they were divided into treatment group(n = 30),control group(n = 30)and control group(n = 30).Electric power is used to treat the affected limbs of two groups of patients.on this basis, the healthy side of the exercise area was selected in the treatment group and the affected side of the exercise area was selected in the control group. Methods: 1.2 ~ 1.5 inches deep was punctured along the direction of the upper point of the motor area and down the point. The needle was carried out quickly by the method of twirling, lifting and inserting. The time was 3 minutes, and the frequency was200 times per minute,so that the amount of stimulation accumulated is enough to penetrate the skull and act on the corresponding part of the cerebral cortex and observe the immediate effect of the patient. Then 20 minutes, once a day,6times a week for a course of treatment,a total of four courses of treatment, before and after the treatment of the patients were evaluated. The simplified Fugl-Meyel motor function assessment scale(FMA)and the clinical neurological deficit scale(NDS)were used to compare the difference between the two groups before and after treatment.During the first acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, the immediate effect of scalp acupuncture was observed, and the clinical neurological deficit degree(NDS)scale was used to evaluate and record the values. Results:After four courses of treatment, the FMA scores in the treatment group and the control group were significantly higher than those before the treatment(p < 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(p < 0.05).In terms of NDS score, the scores of treatment group and control group were significantly lower than those before treatment(p < 0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(p < 0.05).After treatment, the scores of FMA and NDS in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group(p < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant. In terms of immediate effect, the NDS score in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(p < 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture in the contralateral motor area and the affected motor area is effective in the treatment of upper limb motor dysfunction in patients with sequelae of apoplexy, and the curative effect is the same.2.In terms of immediate effect, acupuncture on the contralateral side of the exercise area is better than that of the affected side of the acupuncture exercise area.3.Acupuncture of contralateral motor area has a positive effect on the recovery of upper limb motor function in patients with stroke. Therefore, acupuncture of bilateral motor area can enhance the curative effect of patients with apoplexy.
