Objective: In order to provide theoretical basis for studying the pathogenesis of Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),this study analyzed the relationship between PCOS and human components,the level of serum plasminogen activator inhibitor type-1(PAI-1),adiponectin(ADP)and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin(NGAL).Methods: Twenty newly diagnosed PCOS women were recruited from the Reproductive genetic Center in Hebei General Hospital from October 2016 to October 2017,and twenty controls were recruited from amongst our hospital staff at the same time.Using human body composition analyzer to detect human body composition.The serum levels of ADP,PAI-1,NGAL,blood fat,hormone and fasting insulin level were measured.SPSS 21.0 software was used to analyze the datas.The P value<0.05 is considered to be statistically significant.Results:1.Body mass index(BMI),body fat content and visceral fat content in PCOS group were significantly higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant.2.The level of serum ADP in PCOS group was significantly lower than that of control group,the differences were statistically significant.The level of serum NGAL in PCOS group was lower than that of control group,the level of serum PAI-1 in PCOS group was higher than that of control group but the differences were not statistically significant.3.Homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)was positively correlated with BMI,waist to hip ratio(WHR),body fat content and visceral fat area,skeletal muscle and visceral fat area.HOMA-IR was negatively correlated with the level of serum ADP.4.Logistic regression analysis showed that HOMA-IR,ADP and visceral fat area were independent influencing factors of PCOS after adjusting for age and BMI,P values were 0.032,0.049,0.019.Conclusion:1.The body fat content,visceral fat area and BMI may play an important role in the pathogenesis of PCOS by related to IR.2.Visceral fat area was an independent predictor of PCOS,suggesting that increased visceral fat area may play an important role in the pathogenesis of PCOS.3.ADP is an independent factor of PCOS,which may play an important role in the pathogenesis of PCOS.ADP may involved in the pathogenesis of PCOS by related to IR.ADP can be used as a serological marker for IR-related diseases.
