Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has a long history and is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine.Traditional Chinese medicinal materials pay attention to genuine medicinal materials,refers to a specific natural conditions,ecological environment in the region produced by the medicinal materials.Due to the relative concentration of production,planting and picking procedures are also more exquisite,so that the same medicinal materials produced in other regions are of better quality and better therapeutic effect.Therefore,if a medicinal material is produced in different regions,its quality also varies.The content of toxic and harmful metal elements in Chinese medicinal materials does not conform to the regulations has been concerned by the whole world,hindering the process of promoting Chinese medicinal materials to the whole world.Therefore,it is necessary to control the necessary beneficial elements,harmful elements and heavy metals in Chinese medicinal materials.Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry is a new analytical method.Its advantages include: low requirements for conditions,few influencing factors,easy to understand spectral lines,wide range of variable linearity,high accuracy of results,less time spent,and the ability to detect isotopic data.Therefore,it is an advanced technology for the determination of trace elements in traditional Chinese medicine.Raw pinellia ternata,asparagus root,Perilla stem and honeylilium,four traditional Chinese medicinal materials,are authentic medicinal materials of jiangsu province,which were recorded in the first edition of Chinese pharmacopoeia in 2015.The content of this research mainly has two aspects: one is to establish a ICP-MS method of simultaneously determination of vanadium in the four kinds of medicinal materials,copper,lead,cadmium,nickel,molybdenum,titanium,arsenic,mercury,selenium,chromium,manganese,thallium,zinc,antimony,a total of 16 cobalt contents of metal elements,the 10 batches of raw pinellia,purple Perilla,reed root,honey lily of metal elements content in comparison,comparing the difference between the jiangsu region and other regions.Second,HPLC was used to conduct fingerprint analysis and content determination of ferulic acid as the reference material forreed root,alanine as the reference material for pinellia ternata,and rosemary acid as the reference material for Perilla stem,so as to compare the differences between the three traditional Chinese medicinal materials in jiangsu and other regions.The established method has good linear relationship,precision,stability and repeatability.Experimental results and conclusions:In the pinellia jiangsu,the contents of zinc,manganese,titanium,alanine and sample fingerprints were more similar to those of control fingerprints generated in other regions.The content of mercury and copper in the samples in jiangsu was lower than that in other regions,and the content of lead,arsenic,cadmium,cobalt,vanadium,molybdenum and chromium was the same as that in other regions.Control fingerprints were generated from the mean values of 10 batches of raw pinellia ternata samples,and a total of 7 common peaks were determined.Alanine peak was the reference peak and the relative retention time was8.031 min.The common characteristics of the fingerprints of 10 batches of pinellia ternata were basically consistent with each other,with high similarity between them and the generated control fingerprints.The contents of cu,zn,mn,ferulic acid and the similarity between the sample fingerprint and the control fingerprint were higher than those in other areas.The contents of mercury,arsenic,antimony and thallium in jiangsu samples were lower than those in other regions,and the contents of lead and cadmium were the same as those in other regions.A total of 9 common peaks were identified,ferulic acid peak was the reference peak,and the relative retention time was 13.191 min.The common characteristics of 10 batches of reed root fingerprints were basically consistent,with high similarity between each other and the generated control fingerprints.Jiangsu purple Perilla,tweezers,zinc,molybdenum,cobalt content,rosemary acid content,most of jiangsu sample with contrast fingerprint similarity is higher than other regions,lead,copper,arsenic,antimony,and thallium content is less than other regions,mercury,cadmium,titanium,vanadium,chromium content and other parts of the flat,part of the sample with contrast fingerprint similarity in jiangsu and other regions.The mean value of 10 batches of Perilla stem samples was used to generate the control fingerprint.A total of8 common peaks were determined.The rosinic acid peak was the reference peak and the retention time was 32.186 min.The contents of cadmium,tweezers and zinc in jiangsu mellilium were higher than those in other producing areas,the contents of lead and arsenic in jiangsu samples were lower than those in other producing areas,and the contents of copper,mercury,cobalt,molybdenum and vanadium in jiangsu samples were the same as those in other regions.
