A Study On The Ability Of Local Health Department To Participate In Home Care For The Aged Of Northwest University

Since the 1970 s,the aging problem has become a common topic in the world.The number of aging populations is becoming more and more huge and serious,which puts forward higher requirements on scientific medical supply services.In various forms of elderly care,the home-based care takes social organizations as the main body to provide daily life care services for the elderly living at home.By means of "home-based care" + "community care",it not only alleviates the heavy burden of old-age care,but also meets the psychological needs of "returning to their roots".Home-based care has become the first choice for the elderly.However,the primary difficulty of home-based care lies in the fact that it is difficult for the elderly to get medical care in time due to their poor physical function and inconvenient transportation,which eventually leads to the aggravation or even deterioration of their condition.Therefore,it is particularly important to provide convenient and efficient medical services for the elderly.In terms of functional positioning,local health department can meet the "last mile" problems among hospitals and residents.This paper focuses on the ability of local health department to participate in home-based care services,which includes the actual medical diagnosis level,equipment supplies capacity and the attitude of medical staff to participate.The basic research logic is: firstly,with the help of the Social Support Network Theory and research reports to establish a scientific and comprehensive analysis framework.Based on this,the willingness to participate was understood through case interviews,and the analysis results of community health service institutions' participation in home-based care were finally obtained.The results show that the Community Health Center have low cognition among residents,lack of funds and financial support.Finally,in view of the problems found in the assessment and the suggestions put forward by the medical staff in the interview,suggestions are put forward from the aspects of expanding the pilot of strengths,improving two-way referral,increasing targeted services and improving the family doctor team system,so as to improve the ability of Community Health Center to participate in home care services as soon as possible.
