Objective:To study the clinical effect of interferon ?--2b on paravertebral nerve block in patients with metastatic spinal tumors. Methods:Sixty cancer patients with spinal metastasis were enrolled in our hospital from January 2017 to March 2018,of which patients divided into interferon ?--2b group(group A)and control group(group B)randomly. The only difference between group A and B was whether to use the interferon ?--2b or not.The clinical efficacy, visual analogue scale(VAS)of pain, number of pain episodes, the quality of sleep, daily consumption of morphine and adverse reactions were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results:The VAS score, each index score and total score of PSQI,the daily consumption of morphine, the number of pain episodes, and the adverse reaction rate were lower in group A than in group B(P<0.05),the remission rate of group A was higher than that of group B(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions occurred in any of the groups. Conclusion:Interferon ?--2b used in paravertebral nerve block for patients with metastatic spinal tumors can improve pain symptoms and sleep quality, reduce the dose of opioids and related adverse reactions. |
