Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of LFF&RS for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 32 cases with LSS who treated by LFF&RS was conducted in our hospital from December 2016 to December 2017.The baseline characteristics, preoperative and postoperative scores, and preoperative and postoperative imaging data were collected and analyzed. The responsibility gap was observed in 19 cases at L4-L5(59.38%),in 11 cases at L5-S1(34.38%),and in 2 cases at L3-L4(6.25%).The clinical efficacy was evaluated by analyzing the scores of JOA,ODI,and Mac Nab before and after surgery,as well as operation time, and intra-operative blood loss.Computed tomography(CT)scan was carried out to evaluate the fusion rate of facet joint. Results: All the 32 cases were successfully operated. The operation time was 80-180 min, with an average of(118±27)min.The intra-operative blood loss was 30-382 ml,with an average of(58±21)ml.The JOA score was improved from preoperative(12.80±9.35)to postoperative of 3 months(24.30±4.11)and 12 months(28.50±0.53).;the Mac Nab score was improved from preoperative(2.70±1.25)to postoperative of 3 months(1.20±0.42)and 12 months(0.80±0.42);the ODI score was improved from preoperative(58.00±26.61)to postoperative of 3 months(24.22±15.16)and 12 months(5.78 ± 4.08);and the mentioned scores were significantly different from those before operation. The rate of excellent treatment by CT evaluation was 100% at 6 months after operation. Conclusion: The treatment of LSS with LFF&RS led to decrease of surgical trauma and increase of the stability of the anterior spine.
