Group Work Intervention Study On Care Load Of Caregivers In Advanced Cancer Patients

Malignant tumors have become one of the diseases with the highest disease mortality rate in China,which has aroused widespread concern in all walks of life.Patients diagnosed with advanced stage undergo a painful course of treatment,with reduced body immunity and complex changes in the condition.The caregiver also bears a great load in the care of advanced cancer patients,not only to take care of their loved ones,but also to pay attention to their changes,to ease the mood of patients,to cooperate with doctors,and to take into account family life.Work tasks,social communication and other issues face enormous challenges in all aspects of the body and mind.At present,China's research in the field of cancer is mostly focused on the clinical treatment of diseases.There is less involvement in the field of social work,and in the field of medical social workers,human care care is also more inclined to disease patients,to study their emotions,stress,quality of life.The problem of other aspects rarely involves the care load of the patient caregiver and provides service intervention.This study firstly understood the caregiver's care load through interviews with patients,family members,medical staff and volunteers in the Ningyang Institute of Shanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital and my observations in the ward.It is found that the family members of cancer patients generally have a heavier care load during the care process.According to the inductive analysis of the description,this paper summarizes the care load as care knowledge,economic situation,family relationship,personal role,social support,physical and mental health,etc.The problem.Then,targeted and designed group activities for the care of the caregivers of advanced cancer patients,through the needs assessment,program design,team development,effect evaluation and other procedures to demonstrate how medical social workers use group work methods and theoretical intervention caregiverThe process of load relief.Finally,it is pointed out that the group work has obvious effects on the caregiver's load relief.It can effectively provide help and support for the patient caregiver,solve the corresponding needs,improve their quality of life,and better cope with the various difficulties in life.I hope that medical social work will try and work hard in this field to bring more professional services to more people in need.
