Expression And Significance Of Matrix Metalloproteinase-2 In Endometrial Adenocarcinoma

Objective:The purpose of this study was to detect the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2)in endometrial carcinoma and paracancerous tissues by immunohistochemical method To investigate the relationship between endometrial carcinoma and clinical parameters,such as surgical and pathological stage,histological differentiation,depth of myometrial invasion,lymph node metastasis,menopause,age,diabetes mellitus and so on.MethodsThe clinical data of 59 patients with endometrioid adenocarcinoma admitted to the first affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from May 2016 to May 2018 were collected.All patients were not treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy before operation,were not complicated with other system tumors,and all patients aged 30 ~65 years underwent comprehensive staging surgery for endometrial carcinoma.paraffin pathological specimens of endometrial carcinoma and paracancerous tissues were taken.Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of MMP-2 in endometrial carcinoma and paracancerous tissues,and to explore the relationship between MMP-2 and clinicopathological parameters of endometrial adenocarcinoma and its clinical significance.Results:1.The expression of MMP-2 in the cytoplasm of endometrial tissue was significantlyhigher than that in paracancerous tissues(P < 0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).2.The expression of MMP2 was not significantly correlated with the depth of myometrial invasion,menopause,age and diabetes mellitus(P > 0.05),but negatively correlated with surgical and pathological stage,histological differentiation and lymph node metastasis.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The results showed that the expression of MMP-2 in endometrial carcinoma was higher than that in paracancerous tissues,suggesting that MMP-2 may be related to the occurrence and development of endometrial carcinoma.It is speculated that MMP-2may be involved in the molecular level regulation mechanism of endometrial carcinoma and may be a marker for the detection of endometrial carcinoma.2.The expression of MMP-2 is related to surgical and pathological stage,histological differentiation and lymph node metastasis.the detection of MMP-2 expression may be an index to predict the prognosis of endometrial carcinoma.
