Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of strengthening spleen and regulating qi method combined with herbal Reyanbao in the treatment of EPS with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation.Method:In this study,60 patients from outpatient and inpatient departments of Spleno-Gastric & Hepatobliary Ward of Jiangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital who met the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese and western medicine were selected as subjects and randomly divided into observation group and control group,30 patients in each group. There is no significant difference between the two groups in terms of their age, gender and total score of symptoms before treatment(P>0.05).The patients of observation group were treated with method of strengthening spleen and regulating qi combined with herbal Reyanbao, while those of the controlled group were treated with Piviprium Bromide tablets + Omeprazole Enteric-coated tablets. Both groups were observed for 4 weeks.During this period, the clinical efficacy observation table was filled in carefully, and the symptom score changes of the observed subjects before and after treatment were recorded in detail. The indicators such as symptom score and efficacy index were analyzed by statistical methods. The subjects underwent blood cell analysis, urine analysis, fecal routine+occult blood test, electrocardiogram, liver andkidney function and other safety indexes before and after treatment.Follow-up 4 weeks after treatment to observe the long-term curative effect and relapse.Result:1.The total effective rate of the observation group(93.33%)was significantly higher than that of the controlled group(80.00%),(P <0.05).2.The total score of symptoms in the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment(P < 0.05),and the score of symptoms in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the controlled group(P < 0.05).3.In the improvement of each symptom after treatment in the two groups, the observation group and the controlled group had similar curative effect on abdominal distension(P > 0.05),but the observation group had better curative effect than the controlled group(P < 0.05)when improving symptoms of epigstric pain, burning sensation of upper abdomen, anorexia, bleching, fatigue and loose stool(P < 0.05).4.No significant adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatment.5.After 4 weeks of follow-up after treatment, the recurrence rate of the observation group was 16.67%,and that of the controlled group was56.67%.The recurrence rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Strengthening spleen and regulating qi method combined with herbal Reyanbao for the treatment of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation type EPS has significant efficacy, can effectively improve clinical symptoms, good safety, low recurrence rate, and is worthy of further promotion and application in clinical practice.
