Objective:In this study, sixty cases with hyperemesis gravidarum due to liver-stomach disharmony were selected by strictly using the inclusion criteria. The aim is to systematically observe the clinical effect of acupoint application combined with correction of water and electrolyte disorders in terms of the treatment of hyperemesis gravidarum due to liver-stomach disharmony.Among them,to initially evaluate clinical symptoms, signs, clinical curative effect, determination of urine ketone, serum potassium and sodium levels and other observation indicators and to explore its principle of action and advantages of treating the disease, which can provide a safe and effective method that can reduce complications of pregnant women and fetuses and is simple and feasible for clinical treatment of the disease. At the same time,it can provide a kind of new idea for the research direction of clinical treatment of the disease. Methods:In this study, patients with hyperemesis gravidarum due to liver-stomach disharmony syndrome admitted to gynecology department of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected.Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. Moreover, there were thirty patients in each group.Among them, the experimental group was treated by acupoint application combined with intravenous injection. The control group was treated by only intravenous infusion for correction of water and electrolyte disorders. For the treatment time of both groups, five days was adopted as a course of treatment. They were treated for three consecutive courses of treatment. The changes of traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores, urine ketone, serum potassium and sodium levels before and after treatment were observed and compared between the two groups. As well as the comprehensive treatment effect and cure time of the two groups of patients after receiving treatment were compared. Finally, the clinical effect and feasibility of acupoint application combined with correction of water and electrolyte disorders in the treatment of hyperemesis gravidarum due to liver-stomach disharmony were comprehensively evaluated.Results:(1)In the two groups of cases in the experimental group and the control group, there was no statistical significance in the difference between the two groups in terms of age, duration of amenrrhea, mental state before receiving treatment, dehydration degree, integral of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms, times of vomiting, urine ketone, serum potassium, serum sodium level and other general data(p > 0.05).There was no statistical significance in the comparison of experimental results between the two groups. The results were comparable.(2)In the experimental group and the control group, the total effective rates were 93.33% and 83.33% respectively.Among them, the cure rate of the experimental group was 70% and the apparent efficiency rate was 16.67%.6.67% of the cases were valid and 6.67% were invalid. The cure rate of the control group was 40% and the apparent efficiency rate was 26.67%,16.67% of the cases were effective and 16.67% were ineffective. The results showed that both groups of drugs were effective for treating hyperemesis gravidarum due to liver-stomach disharmony. Moreover, compared with the control group, the treatment effect of the experimental group was better.(3)In the experimental group and the control group, there were obvious difference in the changes of traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores after treatment(p< 0.05).Moreover,the difference between the experimental group and the control group before and after treatment was significant(p< 0.05).The results showed that the treatment methods of the two groups of cases were effective for improving the symptoms of hyperemesis gravidarum due to liver-stomach disharmony. Moreover, compared with the control group, the treatment effect of the experimental group was better.(4)In the experimental group and the control group, the vomiting situation after treatment has been improved. After statistical analysis, there was a significant difference between the two groups(p < 0.05),which suggested that the treatment methods of the experimental group was better than that of the control group in improving vomiting symptoms.(5)Urine ketone index, serum potassium and serum sodium levels improved after treatment in the experimental group and the control group. After statistical analysis, there was no obvious difference between the two groups(P>0.05).In the experimental group and the control group, there was a significant difference(p <0.05)in the intra-group comparison before and after treatment, which showed that both groups were effective for changing urine ketone, serum potassium and serum sodium levels. However, there was no obvious difference.(6)The average total course of treatment in the experimental group was 6.90±3.50 days. The average total course of treatment for the control group was 8.90±3.66 days.Compared with the control group, the average total course of treatment in the experimental group was less. And the difference was significant(p< 0.05).(7)In the experimental group and the control group, there were no obvious allergic reactions and adverse reactions during the treatment. Conclusion:Acupoint application combined with correction of water and electrolyte disorders has a better treatment effect on hyperemesis gravidarum due to liver-stomach disharmony. There are no obvious adverse reactions. It is safe.Compared with only intravenous injection, this method has obvious advantages for improving clinical symptoms. At the same time, the method can shorten the treatment course and improve the treatment efficiency. It provides a new therapeutic method for hyperemesis gravidarum. Moreover, due to its simple, easy and safe features,it can increase the compliance of patients. It is easy to popularize clinically.
