Clinical Efficacy Of Tongbian No.1 In The Treatment Of Slow Transit Constipation(Sthenic Fever Type)

Objective: Tongbian Formula 1 is based on the addition and subtraction of Maziren Pill.It is a common prescription for the treatment of constipation in clinic.Slow transit constipation is a common and difficult type of constipation.The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of Tongbian No.1 Decoction on slow transit constipation(excess heat type),so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Tongbian No.1 Decoction,and further explore its clinical treatment and application value.Methods: According to the proposed inclusion and exclusion criteria,through screening,60 patients with slow transit constipation(excess heat)in Anorectal Department of Jiangxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into 30 patients in the Chinese medicine treatment group,30 patients in the western medicine control group were treated with Tongbian Formula 1,and those in the western medicine control group were treated with lactulose orally.The course of treatment was 28 days in both groups,and the criteria for judging the efficacy were colon transmission function,constipation symptom score,clinical efficacy and recurrence rate.Results: Finally,59 patients were included in the statistical analysis,including 29 cases of treatment group and 30 cases of control group.After 28 days of treatment,the improvement of constipation symptoms and colonic transit function in 59 patients was significantly better than that before treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of colonic transit function and constipation symptom score in 29 patients in the treatment group was better than that in 30 patients in the control group(P<0.05),and the total effective rate of treatment in 29 patients in the two groups was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The effective rate was higher than that of 30 patients in the control group(P <0.05).Conclusions: Tongbian No.1 Decoction is more effective in treating slow transit constipation(excess heat type).Compared with lactulose oral liquid,Tongbian No.1 Decoction has more significant effect and higher safety in improving colonic transit function,constipation symptom score and clinical efficacy.It is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
