Clinical Observation Of Bushen Huoxue Decoction Combined With PFNA In The Treatment Of Intertrochanteric Fractures In The Elderly

Objective: To observe the effect of Bushen Huoxue Decoction on postoperative pain and hip function in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures.Methods: A total of 62 patients with senile intertrochanteric fractures admitted to the Department of Orthopaedics,Xiangjiang Hospital,Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University,were selected.The subjects were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,with31 cases in each group.Both groups underwent closed reduction PFNA surgical treatment,After the operation,the patients in the observation group were given Bushen Huoxue Decoction combined with conventional treatment,The VAS scores and Harris hip function scores were observed at 1 week,4weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks after operation.Result: The VAS scores at 1 week after operation were observed in the observation group(4.30±0.63),and the control group(4.21±0.82)was not statistically significant(P>0.05);The VAS scores at 4 weeks after operation were observed in the observation group(3.13±0.58),and the control group(3.24±0.50)was not statistically significant(P>0.05);The VAS scores at 8weeks after operation were significantly different between the observation group(2.24±0.25)and the control group(2.43±0.42)(P<0.05),observation group is better than control group;The VAS scores at 12 weeks after operation were significantly different between the observation group(1.73±0.34)and the control group(2.00±0.25)(P<0.05),observation group is better than control group.Harris hip function scores at 1 week after operation were observed in the observation group(51.13±9.76),and the control group(49.19±10.12)was not statistically significant(P>0.05);Harris hip functionscores at 4 weeks after operation were observed in the observation group(64.32±7.02),and the control group(62.16±6.62)was not statistically significant(P>0.05);Harris hip function scores at 8 weeks after operation were observed in the observation group(73.00±5.63),and the control group(70.68±5.41)was not statistically significant(P>0.05);Harris hip function scores at 12 weeks after operation were significantly different between the observation group(83.45±4.82)and the control group(80.32±6.71)(P<0.05),observation group is better than control group.At 12 weeks after operation,the excellent rate of Harris hip function score was 70.97% in the observation group and 54.84% in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: 12 weeks use of Bushen Huoxue Decoction in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures,can effectively reduce postoperative pain,significantly improve postoperative hip function in patients,improve the excellent rate of postoperative hip function.
