The Effect Of Modified Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction On The Related Cytokines Of Rheumatoid Arthritis Rats And The Influence Of Immunoglobulin

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized byinflammation of synovial joints. RA occurs in approximately twice as many women asmen，1and often begins at a young age. Without aggressive control of theinflammatory process， the disease may lead to damage of not only the cartilage andbone but also the surrounding connective tissues.The disease is systemic in nature andmay cause damage to other organs in addition to the joints. Importantly，RA isassociated with pain，fatigue，disability，and functional loss，which can substantiallyimpact a patient’s health-related quality of life. Therefore，It is important problemneed to be solved for searching the effective treatment of RA.In recent years，with the progress of medical science，the treatment of RA hasbeen developed from single hormone to combination. The combined treatmentmethod can effectively inhibit the joint damage and improve the life quality ofpatients. However，the drugs will damage the liver、spleen and kidney with long timeand the high expense of drug also bring economic burden to patients，we shouldn’tignore these problems. More importantly，these methods can’t completely heal RA.Therefore，to find a specific、effective drugs for RA patients is necessary.RA is belong to rheumatology in traditional Chinese medicine. Diseasesdifferentiation and syndromes differentiation is the soul of traditional Chinesemedicine，the treatment method of RA is need to combine the diseases differentiationwith syndromes differentiation， mainly syndromes differentiation. According to thetheory of TCM rheumatology，the key of etiology and pathogenesis of RA is spleendeficency，and the blood stasis along with RA occurrence. This study is based onfebrile diseases method， we made a prescription， as following: astragalusmembranaceus chienchung decoction as basic drug， plus orientvine， chicken vectorcane，notoginseng，composed of drugs such as radix gentianae macrophyllae，coixseed，to treat RA. This prescription is used on preliminary clinical application formany years，and has a good effect on spleen deficiencyblood stasis type of RA.According to the references， we summarized the previous the acknowledge and experience of RA， and concluded the pathogenesis of RA. We try used the HQJZ tocure the RA rats model from the spleendeficiency point. The drug prescription ismade by astragalus membranaceus (30g)，cassia twig (15g)，herbaceous peony (18g)， ginger (9g)， jujube (6)， main licorice (6g)， gentiana macrophylla (10g)，chicken vector cane (10g)， orientvine (30g)， notoginseng (6g)， raw semen coicis(30g)， Fried semen coicis (30g)， Chinese yam (30g).We investigated the prescription，which ismadeby invigorating spleen andsupplementing qi， qushi t2dm analgesia of flavored astragalus membranaceuschienchung granule，effect on cell cytokines and immunue protein of RA rat. Weobserved the clinical manifestations of rheumatoid arthritis rats，especially aftertreatment with astragalus chienchung particles. The results demonstrated that theexpression levels of IL-1、 IL-6、IL10、RF、CRP、TGF-α、IFN-γ decreased in serumand the immune ability of rats (IL-4) is significantly enhanced. We clarified themechanism of flavored astragalus chienchung for RA rat treatment，to furtherconfirmed the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine.We collected totally100cases of RA，and thendivided into two groups randomly，each groups contain50cases. The results were significantly different after8weekstreatment in these two groups of RA patients. The treatment group is96%and controlgroup is74%(*P<0.05). These two groups has a improvement after treatment vs.before treatment (*P<0.05)，the measurement of this test included tender jioint count(TJC)，swollen joint count(SJC)，morning stiffness，hand gripping strength tests. Theeffect of treatment has a significantly difference.In this study，we confirmed that flavored astragalus chienchung decoction canobviously improve the patient’s clinical characterization of rheumatoid arthritis，without adverse reaction cases in treatment group. The measurement indexes werestatistically significant difference including ESR，RF，CRP，IgG，IgM，C3betweenthe two groups. The prescription can enhance immunity and improve the clinical curerate of RA patients.
