Objective Based on the theory of post competency, according to the notification requirements of China's "New Induction Nurse Training Outline(Trial)",to construct a standardized training program for undergraduate new nurses in the emergency department, which the training objectives are clear, training process is quantifiable and the quality evaluation is comprehensive. The program provides a theoretical basis for the implementation of standardized training for emergency new nurses with undergraduate degree in China. Methods 1.Literature review : Newly recruited nurses / New nurses /Newly graduate nurses/ New graduate nurses/ Newly hired nurses/ Novice nurses /New recruiting nurse,Standardized training / Residency program/ Transition,Post Competency,Emergency department / Department of emergency, etc.were used as key words to search for the literature related to the subject of our research.Based on the results of literature review,we formulated the research questionnaire preliminarily.2.Semi-structured interview: In order to enrich the content of the questionnaire furtherly,we selected 10 experts for semi-structured interviews. The experts include emergency doctors or nurses, nursing management and education experts.3.Delphi expert's enquiry: Selected 40 experts from relevant fields in this research to conducted two rounds of consultation.Experts were required to assign importance to the proposed indicators and give revision opinions.Research team revised the questionnaire according to the opinions of the experts, and finally determined the standardized training program for the new emergency nurses with the undergraduate degree.4.Statistical methods: Data were entered and analyzed by Excel 2010 and SPSS 23.0.The mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation of each level of indicators were calculated. The positive coefficient, authoritative coefficient and coordination coefficient of the expert were also calculated. The criteria for inclusion of the indicators were: added by experts and approved by our research group. The criteria for the deletion of indicators were: the mean value of the importance assignment?3.5,the CV?0.2,or deleted by experts and agreed by our research group. The weight distribution was calculated by the proportional distribution method. Results 1.33 experts from 16 provinces including Beijing,Shandong,Sichuan,Guangdong, and Zhejiang completed two rounds of consultation. The positive coefficients of the two rounds of correspondence were 90.00% and 91.67% respectively, and the average authoritative coefficient was 0.83,and the Kendall coordination coefficient was 0.128(p<0.01)and 0.147(p<0.01),respectively.2.After two rounds of expert consultations,a standardized training program for newly recruited nurses with undergraduate degree in the emergency department was constructed initially. The program includes 3 first-level indicators,11 second-level indicators, and 85 third-level indicators.3.We used the proportional distribution method to calculate the weight of the indicators at all levels and rank the importance of the indicators. The order of importance of the 3 first-level indicators was ranked as follows: training objectives, training process, and quality evaluation, which weight values were 0.3347,0.3326,0.3326 respectively. The four dimensions of “training objectives” were: emergency clinical practice ability,self-development ability, emergency organization management ability, and education and research ability, which weight values were 0.0907,0.0846,0.0805,and 0.0789,respectively.The “training process” includes training courses, clinical practice, assessment methods, training methods, and training schedules. The weights are 0.0692,0.0688,0.0670,0.0666,and 0.0611,respectively.“Quality evaluation” includes objective evaluation and subjective evaluation, and the weight values were 0.1742 and 0.1585,respectively.Conclusion Based on the post competency theory,we initially established a standardized training program for the new emergency nurses with undergraduate degree after two rounds of expert consultations. The program includes 3 first-level indicators,11 second-level indicators, and 85 third-level indicators. The enthusiasm and authority of experts are high, and the opinions of experts tend to be consistent. The standardized training program reflects the characteristics of emergency nursing, and provides reference for the standardized training of new emergency nurses in Chinese undergraduate degree. In the next step, the evaluation of the implementation of the standardized training program for the new emergency nurses with undergraduate degree will be carried out,and provide an empirical basis for improving the standardized training of the new nurses in the emergency department.
