Schizophrenia is a serious mental disorder that its pathogenesis has not yet been fully elucidated.Its clinical evaluation and diagnosis are still highly dependent on the clinical experience of doctors.It is of great scientific value and clinical significance to study the predisposing factors and neuropathological mechanisms of schizophrenia.With the development of modern information technology,retrospective study and analysis of large clinical data is one of common methods.At present,the research on clinical big data of schizophrenia lacks good data management systems and tools,which are often the “small workshop” mode of individuals or research groups.There are shortcomings such as data management difficulties and inconvenient data analysis,which are difficult to form large-scale effective data.In view of the lack of clinical big data management system for schizophrenia,the author designed and implement a multi-dimensional information management system for clinical big data of schizophrenia,which can effectively and reliably manages and analyzes the multi-dimensions data of schizophrenia.Based on the four research questions of schizophrenia,the author analyzed the types of data that need to be stored in clinical and scientific research,such as basic information,case report data,neuropsychological and cognitive function assessment,magnetic resonance data,EEG data,and intestinal flora data.By the requirement analysis of system,including the functional requirements of data management part,data analysis part,system management part,and the system's overall non-functional requirements,we achieved the system's overall architecture design,functional module division,database table structure design and so on.The system adopts B/S architecture and front-end separation mode.The application server of the system is developed based on Java language and the computing server of the system is developed based on Python language.In addition,we designed and implement the various functional modules of the system in detail,and illustrated the software running process of each module in combination with the sequence diagram.Finally,a functional test of the system is carried out using the multi-dimensional data of schizophrenia from the study in our lab.The results showed that the system can meet the needs of clinical data management of schizophrenia and the system is used to construct and compare the auxiliary diagnosis classification model.By the comparison between this system and other tools,the results indicated the effectiveness and innovation of our system.Compared with the other tools,the characteristics of the system designed in this paper are as follows: First,the system can handle schizophrenia data of various dimensions and thus is more convenient to use;the data has high security and stability and is not easy to lose;the format of the stored data is unified,the data redundancy is low,and the storage space can be saved;the system provides query and retrieval functions for multi-dimensional data and can view and download data anytime and anywhere.Second,the system can conduct data analysis easily,which simplifies the process of schizophrenia related analysis and improves the efficiency of research.Third,the system has good scalability.Because it's a Web-based application,it is easy to expand to multi-centers.It can form a large-scale medical data platform and provide a powerful research tool for schizophrenia research.
