| The nontoxicity,biological adaptability,chemical stability,ease of plasticity and other features make the silicone rhinoplasty enjoy a great popularity.However,a series of complications caused by silicone rhinoplasty is also the most difficult problem for plastic surgeons.Due to the thicker nasal soft tissue and the weakened nasal cartilage,the Asian is prone to capsular contracture after rhinoplasty.Immunization activities,subclinical infection,hematoma,repeated injuries to the nasal tissue,overaggressive resection of cartilage and biomechanics are assumed to contribute to the development of capsular contracture.The grade of contracture is determined by Clinical manifestations,which is similar to Baker grade.According to the relevant factors of capsule formation,the incidence of capsular contracture can be reduced through appropriate operation and suitable use of antibiotics. |
