Research Progress Of The Pathogensis And Prevention About Capsular Contracture After Implant-based Breast Augmentation

Implant-based breast augmentation has attracted more and more attention in recent years.Capsular contracture is a multifactorial process.Biofilm has been hypothesized to be causative for capsular contracture.The immune system plays a prominent role in capsular contracture formation.albeit to an unknown extent.Currently,there are lots of Preventative measures for capsular contracture.The new progress of pathogenesis which involved bacterial factors and immunological factors and prevention about capsular contracture was reviewed in this literature review.
