The Efficiency,safety And Economic Evaluation Of Prostaglandin E2(PGE2) Vaginal Insert For Inducing Labor In Patients With Premature Rupture Of Membranes

Objective: The aim of the study is to compare the efficiency ?safety and expense of induced labor with a prostaglandin E2(PGE2)vaginal insert with the nature labor.Methods: 178 nulliparous women with singleton deliveries,34-41+6 weeks,Bishop Score ?6,induced with prostaglandin E2(PGE2)or waiting for nature labor according to the patient's thoughts during 2016.01-2018.06.The primary outcomes were efficacy?outcome and the cost in hospital.Results: First,induced with prostaglandin E2(PGE2)in PROM and PPROM has high effective(100%,92%,85%);Second,it didn't Increased the risk of cesarean section,postpartum labor,,perineal laceration,urinary retention and neonatal asphyxia;what's more,induced with prostaglandin E2(PGE2)can reduce the risk of infection in PPROM(0% vs 17%,OR=0.857,P<0.05);At last,group PGE2 and nature labor almost had the same cost in the hospital(10222±573 vs 9785±598,P>0.05).Conclusion: It is effective and safety to induced with prostaglandin E2(PGE2)in the PROM and PPROM without extra,even can reduced the infection rate in PPROM.
