Objective:The purpose of this study was to understand the objective physical health and health self-assessment of the elderly in China, whether the objective health and health self-assessment were consistent, and to find out whether the factors were consistent.Improve the accuracy of self-evaluation of the health of the elderly by identifying factors that affect the relationship between objective health and self-assessment of health, and help older people better understand their true health and provide data for health policy and population ageing.Support and advice.Method:Based on the data of the 2011 China Health and Pension Tracking Survey(CHARLS),this study conducts a descriptive analysis of the objective health status of the elderly in China, the self-assessment of health status, and the conformity of objective health and self-rated health. The logistic model was used to empirically study the influencing factors of whether the objective health of the elderly and the self-rated health were consistent.Result:Among the subjects, the objective health results were unhealthy, accounting for 92.97% of the elderly, including 2,722 elderly people with high-risk items, accounting for 66.7%;3,304 elderly people with one or more chronic diseases, accounting for 3,304.80.96% of the subjects studied;among the daily activities, there were 466 elderly people who could not take care of themselves, accounting for 11.42%.In terms of self-evaluation of health,64.74% of the elderly self-evaluation results were healthy, and 35.25% of the elderly self-evaluation results were unhealthy. The difference in the distribution of objective and healthy health self-;the difference in blood test distribution between the healthy self-evaluated;P<0.0001);the distribution difference in self-care ability was statistically0.3158,P< 0.0001).According to the results of the logistic regression model, whether the objective health and health self-assessment match is statistically significant in terms of gender, household registration, living conditions, and social communication.Male elderly people are more likely to have inconsistent objective health than self-rated health(p=0.0438<0.05);the probability that the objective health of the elderly with agricultural household registration does not match the self-rated health is lower than that of non-agricultural household registration.Elderly(p<0.0001);the probability that the objective health of the elderly living with the spouse does not match the self-rated health is higher than that of the elderly who did not live with or without a spouse(P=0.0199<0.05);In terms of the situation, the probability that the objective health of the elderly involved in social activities did not match the self-rated health was higher than that of the elderly who did not participate in social activities(p<0.0001).Conclusion:According to the research on the objective health status and self-evaluation health status of the elderly,we can understand the health status of the elderly in many aspects, and improve the accuracy of the self-evaluation of the elderly through the study of the influencing factors of whether the objective health and self-evaluation health are consistent.Provide data support and advice for health policy and population ageing.
