| At present, the aging society and other factors make the number of chronic patients expanded rapidly year by year. Seeking effective care model of chronic diseases in elderly has become a worldwide urgent research issue, which would take on an important social significance. With the continuous development of wireless communication, networking and other IT technology and micro-electro-mechanical system, the wireless wearable system for ubiquitous health monitoring and remote care will play an important role in the period of chronic patient recovery and stability. Based on the analysis of chronic disease characteristics and care needs in elderly, this paper designed a wireless monitoring and telecare system using wireless sensor network nodes as the mobile remote monitoring pattern, providing personalized health management information platform for community service agencies, health care staff and family members constituted a collaborative care team. The data security and privacy protection in the system is also studied.According to the inter-related elements of chronic care model (CCM), combined with the discussion on the community-based health care information technology construction and digitized services and other aspects, the social model and the general framework of wireless monitoring and telecare system for elderly people suffering from chronic diseases were proposed. In addition to the serious acute symptoms requiring hospitalization, treatment and rehabilitation of major chronic diseases is fulfilled in the community and residents’ home. The corresponding medical and context sensor nodes form the wireless sensor network (WSN) in the personal area, integrated with remote data transmission module, the personal monitoring parameters are transmitted to the central servers in the community healthcare agency or hospital. The whole information flow is expected to build a personal health management system.Senile Dementia as a common chronic disease in elderly, the patients are prone to incuring stray incidents. In the overall framework of the wireless monitoring and telecare system, an anti-lost device is designed based on Zigbee technology, which has the better characteristics of lower power consumption, lower cost and convenience features to carry. By the WSN infrastructure in a region of community area, the device determines the location of the elderly through the bottom algorithm and sends a timely alarm when the elderly is stepping out of the scope of monitoring so that gaining the effect of active anti-lost. Taking Cayley-Menger determinant in the two-dimensional real space as the distance geometry constraints, combined with the weighted centroid calculation, a twice-weighted centroid localization algorithm based on distance geometry constraints (DGC-TWCL) is presented. The experimental results indicate that DGC-TWCL has the better localization precision, algorithm scalability and robustness which can be applied to the scene of accurate positioning.Personal health management system (PHMS) as an integrated information processing platform of wireless monitoring and telecare system for chronic diseases, the main function is based on synthesized solution to improve the social connections among all the members of patients’ care team, achieve good remote interaction and meet personalised care needs. For implementing the services of health counseling and guidance in PHMS, the Q & A subsystem solution of chronic disease network consulting was designed. The weighted semantic similarity matching method on the specific area is discussed. The wireless monitoring and telecare system involves data privacy of the patients. We focus on exploring the security threats and strategies in wireless personal area (WPAN) network. After introducing the security architecture of LR-WPAN 802.15.4 in detail, an input block model is presented based on the underlying AES encryption algorithm and generic CCM mode when implementing AES-CCM security suite. As possible attacks and problems in LR-WPAN 802.15.4, several measurements are discussed. In the end, a system framework of health monitoring system based on Pocket PC for community aging residents was given and pilot implementation of a prototype system for hypertension was initially completed. |
