The incidence of pulmonary thromboembolism(PTE)is high, and anticoagulation is the most basic treatment.Heavy menstrual bleeding(HMB)is common adverse reaction with anticoagulant therapy, which severely weakened patient's physical and mental health, increased health-care costs.Inappropriately reduce or discontinue anticoagulant drugs may lead to recurrence of PTE and seriously affect the prognosis. There are rarely report on anticoagulation-related HMB in PTE patients in China, and lack clinical guidelines or expert consensus. This paper reviews the incidence and treatment of anticoagulation-related HMB in PTE patients, provide a basis for clinicians to make decisions.
