Research Progress Of Autophagy In Lung Inflammatory Diseases

Autophagy is a basic feature of cell biology,with a unique regulatory pathway,which can selectively degrade specific pro-teins,organelles,and invade bacteria.It is generally believed that autophagy is a protective reaction of cells in the pathological and physiological state.Recent studies have shown that in certain metabolic disorders and other neurodegenerative diseases,infection and immunity diseases autophagy play a different role.In certain diseases,inhibition of autophagy can lead to an exacerbation of the disease;and in certain diseases,vice versa,autophagy activation can lead to disease occurrence and development.So,what kind of role does autophagy have in lung inflammatory disease? This article reviews the progress in the research of autophagy in lung inflammatory diseases.
