The Effect Of The PRECEDE-PROCEED Model To The Improvement Of The Health Behavior Of The Patients With Ischemic Stroke

Objectives:To explore the effect of the PRECEDE-PROCEED Model to the improvement of the health behavior of patients with ischemic stroke.In order to improve the levels of health behavior of patients with ischemic stroke,improve the utilization of health services for patients and broaden the application area of the PRECEDE-PROCEED Model.Methods:Totally 80 patients first attacked by ischemic stroke from some neurology department in a tertiary hospital in Chengde who were hospitalied from February to April in 2018 were selected and randomly divided into into two groups,the control group?40 patients?and the study group?40 patients?.Control group was given the neurological routine nursing care on the basis,study group was given the nursing intervention based on the PRECEDE-PROCEED Model during a period of 3 months,guided by the PRECEDE-PROCEED Model,we analyzed the predisposing factors,enabling factors and reinforcing factors that affected the health behavior of the patients with ischemic stroke and took measures to promote the development of various factors.Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile-II?HPLP-II?was applied to measure the levels of health behavior before intervention?T₀?,before diacharge?T₁?,1month?T₂?and 3 month?T₃?after intervention and the utilization of health services were collected at T₃.The collected information and study data were imputed into the database and analysed using SPSS 19.0.Resuits:1.Totally 80 patients first attacked by ischemic stroke were included,5patients were lost to follow-up.The effective 75 cases samples were divided i-nto two groups,the control group?38 patients?and the study group?37 patie-nts?,the effective rate was 93.75%.2.A statistical signifcance?P<0.05?could be seen when comparing the main effect of intervention factor,the main effect of time factor and the inter-action factor through HPLP-II and its dismensions.A statistical signifcance?P<0.05?could be seen when comparing the scores of the HPLP-II and its dismensions of both groups at T₀ and T_1,the scores of both groups at T₁ is higher than theirs at T₀;A statistical signifcance?P<0.05?could be seen when comparing the scores of the HPLP-II and its dismensions at T₁?T₂?T₃ between the study group and the control group,the scores of the study group is higher than the control group.According to the time-tendency graph,the scores of the HPLP-II and its dismensions except the Stress coping dimension of the study group are higher and higher,however,the scores of the control group are first higher,then lower;the scores of the Stress coping dimension of two groups are first higher,then lower,finally higher.3.After nursing intervention,the times of study group on re-hos-pitalization and the emergency visits were less than control group at T3,but the difference had no statistical significance?P>0.05?;A statistical signifcance?P<0.05?could be seen when comparing outpatient visits between the study group and the control group,the times of the study group was more than the control group.Conclusion:The nursing scheme based on the PRECEDE-PROCEED Model can improve the level of health behavior,increase the times of outpatient visits and be applied in clinical practice to some degree.
