Bei Mu E Xiao Pills For Treatment Of Graves' Disease With Qi Depression And Phlegm Obstruction Clinical Observation

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of beimeweixiao pill combined with methimazole on Graves' disease(GD),and to explore the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of Graves' disease,so as to provide references for clinical and scientific studies of Graves' disease in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: 64 Graves' disease patients with qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The control group received oral therapy,and received basic treatment such as propranolol,sharkliver alcohol and liver protection tablets.On the basis of the control group,the treatment group was treated with Bei Mu E Xiao Pills and processed into water pills,9g each time,3 days/time.They were observed for 12 weeks.TCM syndrome score,clinical efficacy,thyroid function measurement,TRAb,thyroid volume,liver and blood routine and other indicators were observed in the two groups.SPSS20.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data,and P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results: In this study,30 cases were observed in the treatment group and30 cases in the control group.After 3 courses of treatment,(1)clinical efficacy: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 80.00%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 73.33%,and the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).(2)TCM syndrome efficacy: the total effective rate of the treatment group was83.33%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 66.67%,and the curative effect of TCM in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).(3)There were significant improvements in thyroid function(FT3,FT4,TSH)and TRAb in the two groups(P<0.01).The treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The improvement level of thyroid function in the 4w and 8w treatment group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05),while that in the 12 w treatment group wasno significant difference(P > 0.05);(4)the thyroid volume of the control group was not significantly improved after treatment(P > 0.05).The volume of thyroid gland decreased significantly in the treatment group(P < 0.01).And the treatment group can significantly improve goiter than the control group(P < 0.01).(5)the decline of TCM syndrome scores in both groups was statistically significant(P<0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(6)there was no significant difference in the initial dose of methimazole between the treatment group and the control group,while the dose of methimazole in the treatment group at 4,8 and 12 weeks after treatment was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).(7)during the treatment,1 patient in the treatment group showed abnormal liver function,1 patient in the control group showed leukopenia,and 2patients in the control group showed abnormal liver function.Conclusion: Bei Mu E Xiao Pills combined with sedative therapy for hyperthyroidism has great advantages in improving clinical efficacy,improving TCM symptoms and reducing goiter.Bei Mu E Xiao Pills combined with MMI can adjust thyroid hormone level,reduce TRAb titer and reduce)Bei Mu E Xiao Pills dosage,with high safety and no obvious adverse reactions.
