Clinical Observation Of Hua Zhuo Tong Yu Decoction In Treating Syndrome Of Phlegm And Blood Stasis Of Obese Patients With PCOS-IR

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Huazhuo Tongyu Decoction on obese patients with PCOS-IR and the syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis.Method:Sixty obese PCOS-IR patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group.Both groups were given basic treatment and metformin 250 mg orally three times a day.The treatment group was given Huazhuo Tongyu Decoction on this basis.The clinical observation lasted for 12 weeks.The changes of efficacy and safety of BMI,FINS,FPG,HOMA-IR,LH,FSH,LH/FSH,totalTCM syndrome score,amenorrhea were observed and compared before and after treatment.Result:1.Comparison of the TCM syndromeseffective rate:The total effective rate of TCM syndromes in the control group was 40%,and that in the treatment group was 96.7%.There was a significant difference between two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and theTCM syndromeseffective rate of treatment group was better than the control group's.2.Change of the total scores of TCM syndromes:There was no significant difference in the total scores of TCM syndromes between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);after treatment,there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group was lower than the control groupafter treatment(P<0.05).3.The change of amenorrhea:In the control group of 30 amenorrhea patients,5 cases were remarkable effective,12 cases were effective,the total effective rate was 56.7%.Among the 30 amenorrhea patients in the treatment group,8 were remarkable effective,18 were effective,and the total effective rate was 86.7%.There was a significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).The amenorrhea improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.4.Changes in BMI: There was no significant difference in BMI between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);during treatment,there was a significant difference inboth two groups(P<0.05).There was a significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the BMI of treatment group was lower than that of the control group.5.Changes of insulin resistance:There was no significant difference in FPG,FINS and HOMA-IR between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);during the treatment,there was a significant difference in FINS and HOMA-IR in both two groups(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in FPG(P>0.05).After treatment,there was a significant difference in FINS and HOMA-IR between the two groups(P<0.05).The FINS and HOMA-IR of treatment group was lower than that of control group.6.Changes of serum sex hormones:There was no significant difference in LH,FSH,LH/FSH between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);during treatment,there was a significant difference in LH,LH/FSH in both two groups(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in FSH in two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,there was a significant difference in LH,LH/FSH between the two groups(P<0.05).The lever of LH and LH/FSH in the treatment group was lower than that of control group.Conclusion:1.Huazhuo Tongyu Decoction can significantly improvethe TCM symptoms of PCOS patients with phlegm-blood stasis syndrome.2.Huazhuo Tongyu Decoction can reduce BMI level in obese PCOS-IR patients.3.Huazhuo Tongyu Decoction can reduce the levels of FINS and HOMA-IR in obese PCOS-IR patients.4.Huazhuo Tongyu Decoction can reduce the levels of LH and LH/FSH in obese PCOS-IR patients.
