The Clinical Observation On The Prevention And Treatment Of Complications After PPH Surgery With Catgut Embedding At Changqiang

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Catgut Embedding at Changqiang acupoint on preventing and treating common complications after PPH for mixed hemorrhoids.Methods:Sixty-four inpatients who were diagnosed as mixed hemorrhoids in Chengdu Anorectal Hospital from January 2018 to December 2018 and were scheduled to undergo PPH were randomly divided into treatment group and control group by SPSS 17.0 statistical software.Thirty-two patients in each group were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.In treatment group,one patient dropped out of the experiment automatically,and one patient was discharged automatically after operation.In control group,two patients were excluded because of changing the operation mode.Finally,sixty patients were enrolled,thirty in each group.The treatment group was embedding at Changqiang acupoint after surgical anesthesia,and then treated with PPH,while the control group was treated with PPH directly after anesthesia.The incidence of postoperative anal edema,anal bulge,and urinary retention was observed in the two groups.The scores of the anus pain,hemorrhage,anal edema,and anal bulge were recorded on the 1st,3rd,and 7th postoperative day.Rating,as well as the first urination score.Collected data was analyzed by statistical software SPSS 17.0.Results:1.Comparison of the incidence of postoperative complication between the two groups:the incidence of postoperative urinary retention and anal edema in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the incidence of anal swelling between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Comparison of the score of postoperative complication between the two groups:the score of anal pain,hemorrhage and anal swelling on the 3rd and 7th day after operation in the treatment group were significantly different from those on the 1st day(P<0.05).The score of anal pain on the 1st,3rd,and 7th postoperative day,the score of anal edema on the 3rd and 7th postoperative day,the score of anal bulge on the 7th postoperative day,and the score of first urination were better than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Although the score of the anal edema on the 1st postoperative day and the score of anal bulge on the 3rd postoperative day were better than those in the control group,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),There was no significant difference in bleeding score betwee the two groups on the 1st,3rd,and 7th postoperative days(P>0.05).Conclusion:Before tho PPH procedure,Catgut Embedding at Changqiang acupoint can effectively prevent the occurren ce of postoperative urinary retention and anal edema,promote the first urination,and effectively reduce the degree of postoperative anal pain and edema afrter operation.In addition,no significant adversy reactions occurred during this study.
