Study On The Correlation Between The Severity Of Tinnitus And TCM Syndromes And Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Auricular Point Sticking On Tinnitus With Weak Spleen And Stomach

Objective:Understand the severity of tinnitus patients,distribution of TCM syndromes,the correlation between them,and to explore the relationship between gender,age,tinnitus side and other aspects with TCM syndromes and tinnitus severity.Observe the curative effect of auricular point sticking in treating asthenia type tinnitus of spleen and stomach.(2)Methods: Patient information was collected through questionnaires.A total of 200 patients with tinnitus who conform to the inclusion criteria were asked to fill in the THI scale,and determine the type of TCM syndromes.Selected thirty cases of tinnitus patients with TCM syndromes of spleen and stomach weak and treated with auricular point sticking therapy.After two courses of treatment,evaluate the efficacy.Finally,use SPSS20.0 software analysis the observation indicators.Results:(1)General informationWith a total of 200 cases,among which 97 cases were males,and 103 cases were females.The patients were 14-75 years old,with an average age of 38.83±13.726 years old.The duration of the disease ranged from 1 day to 15 years.There were 75 cases in left ear(37.5%),77 cases in right ear(38.5%),and 48 cases in both ears(24%).(2)Grade distribution of tinnitus severity41 cases(20.5%)were slight,80 cases(40.0%)were mild,48 cases(24.0%)were moderate,28 cases(14.0%)were severe,3 cases(1.5%)were catastrophic.(3)Distribution of TCM syndromes23 cases of exogenous invasion,accounting for 11.5%;4 cases of phlegm-dampness-entrapment type,accounting for 2.0%;55 cases of liver-qi stagnation type,accounting for 27.5%;92 cases of spleen-stomach weakness,accounting for 46.0%;21 cases of nephron deficit,accounting for 10.5%.5 cases of restless mind,accounting for 2.5%.(4)Correlation between syndrome type and tinnitus severityThere were statistically significant differences in age,course of disease,THI score,functional score,severity score and affective score between exogenous invasion and non-exogenous invasion,spleen-stomach weakness and non-spleen-stomach weakness,nephron deficit and non-nephron deficit,positive and negative syndromes(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in THI score,functional score,severity score and affective score between liver qi stagnation type and non-liver qi stagnation type(P<0.05).(5)The effect of auricular point sticking pressure on the weak of spleen and stomach of tinnitus The total effective rate was 83.3%.There were statistically significant differences in THI total score,functional score,severity score and affective score before and after treatment(P<0.05).Research conclusions:(1)Patients with exogenous invasion are young,with short course of disease and high degree of tinnitus.(2)Patients with liver-qi stagnation type have high degree of tinnitus.(3)Patients with spleen and stomach weakness are young,with a long course of disease and low degree of tinnitus.(4)Patients with nephron deficit are old,with a long course of disease and low degree of tinnitus.(5)Patients with positive syndromes are younger than those with negative syndromes,with shorter course of disease and higher degree of tinnitus severity.(6)Auricular point sticking therapy can improve the severity of tinnitus,has a high safety.
