A Retrospective Study On The Characteristics,syndrome Type Distribution And Curative Effect In Patients With Sudden Sensorineural Deafness With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Objective: To compare the medical records of patients with sudden deafness with and without type 2 diabetes mellitus.To explore the general characteristics of sudden deafness with type 2 diabetes mellitus,to compare the curative effect of clinical treatment of sudden deafness with and without type 2 diabetes mellitus,and to discuss the related characteristics of TCM syndrome types.It provides evidence for differentiation of symptoms and signs and enriches the research path of treating sudden deafness with type 2 diabetes mellitus by TCM.Methods: This study was a retrospective study.First,we looked up the case system of Teaching Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM and collected the data of patients who were admitted to the department of E.N.T for sudden deafness from January 2015 to January 2019.Inclusion and exclusion criteria were used to determine 44 cases of sudden deafness with type 2 diabetes mellitus and 52 cases of sudden deafness without diabetes mellitus.All the valid data included in the case were input into Excel,and the data were analyzed by SPSS25.0 statistical software.Results: 1.General characteristics: The age distribution between group A and B was significantly different(P <0.05).The type of deafness was different in the course of diabetes(P <0.001)by Fisher's accuracy test.2.Comparison of curative effect: There was no significant difference between the two groups,(P> 0.05).3.The relevant characteristics of the syndrome type: There was no statistical difference in the composition ratio of each syndrome type between the two groups.There was no significant association between the type of syndrome of type 2 diabetes and type of hearing loss by Fisher's accuracy test,(P> 0.05),the effective rate of group A was significantly higher than that of group B in spleen deficiency syndrome.Conclusion: 1.General characteristics: the age increases the risk of sudden deafness with type 2 diabetes;In patients with sudden deafness with type 2 diabetes mellitus,binaural deafness is more common;Both group A and group B had severe hearing loss and high frequency descent;When there was no significant difference in sex,recurrence rate,degree and type of hearing loss,and timing of treatment,the difference of age distribution,age distribution and ear position distribution of type 2 diabetes mellitus did not cause the difference of curative effect;the distribution of the type of syndrome of the Chinese medicine was mainly due to the stagnation of phlegm-fire,and the second was the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis,and followed by wind-heat external syndrome,the kidney-deficiency syndrome,the syndrome of the liver-fire,the spleen-deficiency and the spleen-deficiency and the yin-deficiency syndrome of liver and kidney,the effect of the spleen-deficiency syndrome on the curative effect are large,and the type distribution of the deafness in the course of the different diabetes is different.
