Objective: To investigate and summarize the clinical features of intestinal Behcet's disease(BD),and to analyze the risk factors and clinical features of intestinal Behcet's disease. Methods:We retrospectively investigated the clinical data of patients diagnosed as intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)in Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from April 2014 to January 2019.The demographic characteristics, clinical features, and endoscopic findings of patients with intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)were summarized and compared with non-intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)patients.SPSS software was used for statistical analysis.Result:1.A total of 47 patients with intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)and 47 non-intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)patients were enrolled in this study.26 males and 21 females are included in intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)group. The median age at onset of the patients with intestinal Bechet's was 37 years old.Ratio of male to female was 1.24: 1.2.Clinical symptoms and signs of gastrointestinal were appearance later than that of systemic manifestation of BD in 45% Cases.Abdominal pain was the most comnon symptom, the rate was 81%(38/47),and the location frequently was represented on lower abdomen. The symptoms of the disease were diarrhea, poor appetite, bloating, and perianal abscess in turn. The chief complications of the patients with intestinal Behcet's disease were gastrointestinal bleeding(40.4%),perforation(4%)and obstruction(4%)in turn. There was no statistically significant difference in fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, recurrent oral ulcers, ophthalmia and acupuncture-positive rate in the two groups(the female group, the male group). There was statistically significant difference in Genital ulcer in the two groups(the female group, the male group). There was no statistically significant difference in fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, recurrent oral ulcers, ophthalmia,Genital ulcer and Acupuncture-positive rate in the three groups(the youth group, the middle-aged group, the old-aged group).3.Both ESR and CRP(76.6%)were increased which were common abnormity of laboratory test.Hypoalbuminemia was found in 78.7% of intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)patients. The serum albumin and hemoglobin in two groups of intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)patients were compared, and the difference was not statistically significant.4.Symptoms of the ileocecal involvement were mostly probable in endoscopy inspection, with ratio of 57.4%,followed by colon, esophagus, small intestine, stomach.Endoscopic ulcer is mainly manifested as aphthous ulcers and irregular shallow ulcers, followed by longitudinal ulcer. The the number of ulcers in two groups of intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)patients were compared, and the difference was not statistically significant.5.Treatment and prognosis: The treatments of the disease were mainly glucocorticoid drugs and Thalidomide therapy.Immunosuppressive or tumour necrosis factor antagonists play an important role in treatment of intestinal Behcet's disease. In this study, when the 12 patients adjusted other drugs or reduced the quantity, the disease would relapse.Among them,2 cases died and 1 case had no remission in clinical symptoms.6.The residue diet may be a protective factor of intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)patients, but the latest infections, allergy may be the risk factor for intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)patients.Conclusion:1.The gastrointestinal intestinal BD performance were recurrent oral ulcers, abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea,Genital ulcer in turn.In female group, the prevalence of Genital ulcer was more common.2.The endoscopy features of intestinal Behcet's disease were round ulcer, irregular geographic ulcers, longitudinal ulcer in turn.Lesions involved the entire digestive tract, which the ileocecal junction was the most common site.3.We found that residue diet may be a protective factor of intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)patients, but the latest infections, allergy may be a risk factor for intestinal Behcet's disease(BD)patients.
