Objective:By exploring the expression and the clinical significance of S100P and RAGE in basal cell-like breast cancer,to provide theoretical basis of basal-like breast carcinomas'invasion,metastasis and prognosis looking potential therapeutic targets and medicine for these diseases.Methods:Collect the cases of invisive ductal carcinoma of breast from NO.1 central hospital of Baoding.Immunohistochemistry was used to test the proteins expression of S100P and RAGE in 80 cases of BLBC,90 cases of non-BLBC and 80 cases of normal breast tissues.The data was analyzed by SPSS 19.0.The different expression of S100P and RAGE in BLBC,non-BLBC and normal breast tissue gruops,the relationship of S100P and RAGE experssion in BLBC and the clinical and pathological features was analysized by?~2 inspection.The relationship of the expression of S100P and RAGE was analysized by Spearman inspection.Results:1.The expression of S100PThe positive expression ratio of S100P in BLBC,non-BLBC and normal breast carcinoma was 68.7%(55/80),54.44%(40/90)and 12.5%(10/80).There was significant difference between each group(P<0.0167).The positive expression ratio of S100P in BLBC was significantly higher than that in non-basal cell-like breast cancer and normal breast tissue(P<0.0167).There was a close relationship between the expression of S100P with the lymph nodes metaStasis and TNM staging of BLBC,while there was not statistically difference between the expression of S100P and the ages,menopause and the tumor size.(P>0.05).2.The expression of RAGEThe positive expression ratio of RAGE in BLBC was 65.0%(52/80),significantly higher than that in non-BLBC and normal breast carcinoma[42.22%(38/90);10.0%(8/80)].There was significant difference between each group(P<0.0167).There was a close relationship between the expression of RAGE with the lymph nodes metaStasis and TNMstaging of BLBC,while there was not statistically difference between the expression of S100P and the ages,menopause and the tumor size(P>0.05)3.The relationship of the expression of S100P and RAGE in BLBCThere was a positive correlation between the expression of S100P and RAGE in BLBC(r=0.410,P<0.01).With the increase of S100P protein expression in basal cell-like breast cancer tissue,the expression of RAGE protein also increased as the expression of S100P protein in basal cell-like breast cancer tissue increased.Conclusions:1.The expression of S100P and RAGE in BLBC was significantly higher than that in non-BLBC and normal breast tissue.The expression of S100P and RAGE in BLBC was related to TNM stage and lymph node metastasis.The results suggest that S100P may be related to the occurrence,development,invasion and metastasis of BLBC.2.In BLBC,the expression of S100P protein was positively correlated with the expression of RAGE,suggesting that the expression of S100P and S100P may participate in the development of BLBC synergistically.
