Objective :To investigate the relationship between butylphthalide and urotensin II(UST2)and endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS)in patients with ischemic stroke. Methods: From December 2017 to December 2018,67 patients with ischemic stroke were selected from Department of Neurology,First Affiliated Hospital of Jiamusi University. They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,34 in experimental group and 33 in control group. The control group was treated with routine treatment methods such as improving circulation, nutritional nerve,anti-platelet aggregation, scavenging free radicals, reducing lipid and stabilizing plaque. The experimental group was treated with butylphthalide on the basis of routine treatment. The experimental group included 15 females and 19 males aged 57±11.89 years. The control group included 15 females and 18 males aged 61.6±11.93 years. The patients were given butylphthalide before medication.Magnetic resonance imaging(including DWI items)and angiography(MRA)were performed when conditions permit, and the scores of neurological deficits(NIHSS scores,mRS)were recorded. The experimental group and the control group were given drugs for 14 consecutive days. The clinical efficacy and neurological deficit scores were evaluated before and after drug treatment. The levels of UST2 and eNOS in serum were measured on 1,7 and 14 days after hospitalization. The changes of UST2 and eNOS levels were analyzed. At the same time, the possible adverse events of drugs were recorded in detail through follow-up.Results:1.Univariate analysis of the general data of patients in the butylphthalide group and the experimental group at admission showed that age, sex,BMI,hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, smoking and drinking were not related to the use of butylphthalide(P > 0.05).2.Compared with the control group, the expression of serum eNOS in the butylphthalide group showed a dynamic change. There was no significant difference in the level of serum eNOS between the two groups on the first day of hospitalization(P > 0.05).On the 7th and 14 th day of treatment, the serum eNOS in the experimental group showed an upward trend, and the concentration was higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.Compared with the control group, the expression of serum UST2 in the butylphthalide group showed a dynamic change. There was no significant difference in the level of serum UST2 between the two groups on the first day of hospitalization(P > 0.05).At 7 and 14 days after treatment, the serum UST2 in the experimental group showed a downward trend, and the concentration was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).4.In the ischemic stroke group, there was no correlation between eNOS and UST2 on the first day of administration(p > 0.05),but negative correlation between eNOS and UST2 on the seventh and fourteenth day. Conclusion:Butylphthalide may improve neurological deficits in patients with ischemic stroke by regulating eNOS and UST2.
