Objective:To explore the value of CT and three-dimensional reconstruction in the measurement of pedicle outer width in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures?OVCF?and middle-aged and young patients with thoracolumbar spines(T11-L5)fractures,evaluating the operation method and the equipment selection.Methods:Data of all patients with thoracolumbar spines fractures treated in our hospital from October 2016 to June 2018 were collected for retrospective analysis.Among them,105patients with OVCF were group A,with an average age of 73.26±6.28 years old.The 72cases of traumatic thoracolumbar spines fractures treated at the same time were group B,with an average of 38.90±8.58 years old.Compared the POW values of both sides of vertebral pedicle corresponding to T11-L5 and the differences between different genders between the two groups,and calculated the percentages of POW<5mm and<7mm.Results:There was no statistical difference in POW of the left and right sides of the spine in the same patient?P>0.01?.The POW corresponding to T11-L3 in both groups A and B was smaller than that in group B?P<0.01?,and no difference in L4andL5.There were118 pedicles in group A whose POW<5mm,accounting for 8.03%of the total number of the group,mainly distributed in the spine of T11-L3,and 15 pedicles in group B whose POW<5mm,accounting for 1.49%.The proportion of patients with POW<7mm in group A was 46.87%,T11-L4 was distributed,and the proportion of patients with POW<7mm in group B was 13.10%,distributed in T11-L3.Conclusion:T11-L3 POW of OVCF patients was significantly smaller than that of young and middle-aged patients,males was significantly larger than that of females,and some patients with pedicle parvosis were not suitable for conventional surgical instruments.CT three-dimensional reconstruction examination was performed on patients with thoracolumbar fracture before surgery to effectively measure the width of vertebral pedicle isthmus,evaluate the feasibility of surgical treatment and provide valuable parameter basis for reducing complications.
